I guess that by now you've all seen or read about the passing of "El hijo del perro Aguayo" during a wrestling match of the CRASH promotion in Mexico (that also involved Rey Mysterio jr.) I follow Lucha Libre closely, and I have been a fan of Perro jr since his early days, he was one of the best "rudos" ever... so sad to see him go like that. I keep thinking if there was anything else the promotion could have done better to help him... or maybe it was just ill luck on a sport that is really risky like wrestling.... what do you think? R.I.P Hijo del Perro Aguayo. |

He botched a basic spot that shouldn't have been fatal. Do we know of prior neck issues? The whiplash killed him I heard from Wrestling Observer. There's a lot I don't really know but this guy was about to enter a giant money angle with Alberto Del Rio. |

Now it's a heart attack that killed him, and he didn't die in the ring either... He still had vital signs when he arrived at the hospital. Tijuana wrestling commission called for laws on lucha libre. |
