What is the difference between the two pricing schemes on FB’s ad management page: ‘Cost per click’ and ‘Cost per impression’ |

Impression - the number of people who see your ad (does not have to be unique views) Click - the number of people who click on or within the ad (also considered an engagement and includes likes and comments) |

Hi, can I clarify if 'impression' here means people who click on the advertisements? So means they have to click on it? Because ananddaniel mentioned that it does not have to be unique views so I'm a little confused (I'm assuming here unique views means when you click specifically on the advertisements?) Thanks in advance for any clarification made! |

Hi Techy! Impressions refer to the number of times a person sees a particular post, regardless of having clicked on it or not. For example, you might see a page update by a page you follow once, then if your friend shares the post, you see it a second time. You can read Facebook's explanation about it here: https://www.facebook.com/help/274400362581037 Hope I have sufficiently answered your question!
