The Charter of Halo 23rd May 2009 Art. 1. The nations of Halo offer the non-hereditary Sovereignty of Atlantis to the Prince of Orangutang Fiction. Art. 2. His Highness, the Prince of Orangutang Fiction accepts the non-hereditary Sovereignty of Halo, on the conditions hereinafter settled. Art. 3. The Prince shall bear the title of King of Halo. Art. 4. The Royal Crown and dignity shall be non-hereditary in Halo; and shall pass to the Prince or Princess that is elected by the nations of Halo when such a succession is required. Art. 5. One Prince, or Princess, shall be appointed by His Majesty every three months. The term of a Prince, or Princess, lasts six months. Such appointments are subject to the approval of the Court of Governors. Art. 6. The Monarch will have the power to appoint up to nine Governors who will be granted an Estate in either the inner or outer rim of the City of Halo. Such Governors are elegible to sit in the Court of Governors, which exists to advise and counsel the Monarch. There must always be at least two Governors at any one time. |
