Ordinances of the Protestant Elder’s Council

Article 1: Formation

Article 1 Section 1: The original 6 point plan:

1. Set up a council of 6 elders to take charge over the region. (I nominate myself as one)
2. Allow them to try to decide on the plan of action
3. Force all nations in the region to endorse the same regional delegate.
4. Banject all nations who do not do so.
5. Banject all nations who seem suspect. This would be dealt with by reporting people and the 6 deciding on what to do with them.
6. Eliminating nations that are clearly heretical.
This is rational and I think that these ideas can be negotiated. If people seem to agree, I shall pursue them.

Article 1 Section 2: Mission

The mission of the Protestant Elder’s Council is to deal with the affairs and decision-making of the Alliance of Protestant Nations. The reason for this is that A&B was deleted, making a hole in the region’s politics. It means that there needs to be a replacement for the position as leader of the region. Following the Early Church, The Bible and John Calvin’s model, we have decided to use Elders as the leaders for the region. We have decided to have 12, however, the number is liable to change if we need it to. Thus, the mission of the Elders is to govern the region in a Christian manner with democracy as a concern.

Article 1 Section 3: Role

The Role of the PEC is to oversee the region’s politics and governance along with the WA delegate.

Article 2: Functioning

Article 2 Section 1: Functioning

The Elders are to convene daily on matters of the safety of the region by tg, not forum or RMB as to preserve some level of secrecy. There are four main realms of discussion in the council: Military matters, doctrinal matters, judicial and political matters. If a motion is aimed at, there should be a vote on it between all possible members of the council.

Article 2 Section 2: Privileges and abilities

The Elder committee is able to do 4 things: banject people, decide military matters, decide official doctrines and to decide on structural changes in the alliance. Members are also able to elect new elders when needed.

Article 3: Normal Procedure

Article 3 Section 2 Proposals

When Elders are to make a decision, the issue is first brought to question, then discussion is had for some time, then there is a vote. The WA delegate is then forced by law to act on the decision.

Article 4: Judicial Matters

The Elders also have control over who is banjected. To have someone

I have written this, people should help with everything.

Just a few questions that I think could be addressed by this Charter/constitution.

How are the elders chosen? Are they elected? or is someone appointing them?

If they're elected, who has the right to vote? WA nations? Or all nations? Nations that have been in the region for a certain amount of time?

In the future, if the charter is to be changed, how will that be done? via referendum, or a council majority?

I would suggest changing article 1.1 to "Elect a council..."
