You find yourself in a dirty old shop. Shelves upon shelves line the walls loaded down with items caked in an inch of dust. Some of them look quite mundane while others have a sort of...aura about them, drawing you in. Through considerable effort, you shake off those feelings and power forward to where a small crowd has gathered. At the center of that crowd is Albion's own Mad Scientist(though we prefer the term Alchemist), Molybdenum Calidan. He stands resplendent in a white lab coat behind an item under brown handkerchief. "Ladies, Gentleman and Animals of the NS Multiverse. Thank you for entering the Arcanium today. I have a special treat for you. Underneath this cloth is an artifact, one of many that has come into my possession. Your job today is to discern it's use through experimentation. There is but one rule, do not destroy it. So, are you up to the task?" (As it says, you can post something below you'd like to do to the object and Moly shall post how that object reacts. Through yours and others experimentation, you must figure out what it does. Moly will be around in a bit to start us off. Until then, get excited people!) |

With a flourish, Moly pulls the cloth away.![]() "It's a scrollcase", the shopkeeper helpfully says. "This Parchment and this quill... Uh... this... quill... Blue strawberries be damned, where did I put that rotten quill?! Ah... Ah. here it is. Yes. The Parchment and the quill belong together with the scrollcase. Have fun!", he says with a sly little smile. |

The parchment is now soaked, the scrollcase is dripping and the feather is wet. Nothing if note happens. Moly shoots you a reproachful look as he dries everything with a Heatstone. |

*since nothing but drying happened with the heat stone* I spritz the parchment with lemon juice in the hopes of finding a hidden message.* |

A message appears on the parchment. "Ha, try again!", it says. |

*dismayed at the message, I pick up the quill, and attempt to write on the parchment* |

You leave Mark as you thoughtlessly rest the quill on the parchment - even though you haven't taken up any ink yet. Looking around, you notice that no ink is displayed, either - yet there definitely is an ink stain on the parchment now |
