You find yourself in a dirty old shop. Shelves upon shelves line the walls loaded down with items caked in an inch of dust. Some of them look quite mundane while others have a sort of...aura about them, drawing you in. Through considerable effort, you shake off those feelings and power forward to where a small crowd has gathered.

At the center of that crowd is Albion's own Mad Scientist(though we prefer the term Alchemist), Molybdenum Calidan. He stands resplendent in a white lab coat behind an item under brown handkerchief. "Ladies, Gentleman and Animals of the NS Multiverse. Thank you for entering the Arcanium today. I have a special treat for you. Underneath this cloth is an artifact, one of many that has come into my possession. Your job today is to discern it's use through experimentation. There is but one rule, do not destroy it. So, are you up to the task?"

(As it says, you can post something below you'd like to do to the object and Moly shall post how that object reacts. Through yours and others experimentation, you must figure out what it does. Moly will be around in a bit to start us off. Until then, get excited people!)

*I bump Mokastana out of the way before he has the opportunity to see the results of his test, and take the quill, dip it in some ink, and begin poking my skin with it, in an attempt to make a crude tattoo.*
After being bumped I pull out my pocket knife and "help" Rhyphix with making holes in his skin, mine might be going deeper though

Still clenching his jaw in pain, SD writes on the parchment again and puts it back in the scrollcase, closing it.

It read, "SD knows exactly what the scroll is, does and where it came from."

Security is escorting you away too just as a medic arrives.

As you remove the scroll to write on it again, your wings vanish and the parchment is blank.

Once you replace it with the new inscription, you're suddenly filled with enlightenment about the purpose, function and origin of scrolls and other similar writing utensils.

Clearly this scroll always us to alter reality through writing on it, but removes that alteration should we attempt to do it again.

Do I win? ;)

Lamoni puts ink on the feet of a bunch of roosters, has them walk all over the parchment, and then puts the parchment into the scroll case.

The floor gets very dirty as the roosters escape your custody while you're busy putting the parchment into the scrollcase. Around the scroll, several very attractive hens appear, which the roosters quickly start... appreciating.

*Takes the parchment out, wipes it clean with a slightly damp cloth and starts fresh*
*Starts sketching, depicting a scene of a shop being overrun by armed rodents making off with a scrollcase*
*puts it back into the case and quickly flees the scene*

As you close the scrollcase, a murmurband a rumbling begin growing louder, until a flood of rats carrying tiny submachineguns pour into the door. Both Lamoni and the Scrollcase are carried away, with Moly and several other bystanders chasing after it, shouting.

Lamoni writes "And the rats all died" on the parchment after opening the scroll case, and then closes the scroll case again.
