Corrupt a Law, the hit TNP-themed forum game; Or: How I learned to stop worrying and love the RA

Posts: 9 Group: Admins Member #11 Joined: Dec 4, 2015	The TNP Regional Assembly is one of NationStates' most interesting, unique institutions. Maintaining a legal code that has, at times, been a work of art that would put an average university literature course to shame, it's not a surprise that our beloved RA would need some help. Your job is simple! The person above you will post a one-line summary of a possible law the RA might consider passing. You should help them out by telling them about a weakness or flaw you've spotted, and then propose your own law. I'll start us off. I propose TNP's government be required to shut down for all RL holidays.

Most days are probably a holiday somewhere. And please don't get me started on timezones! I propose that each post should have a 2 holders - a senior (senpei) who teaches the junior (kohei) during their term in charge, then hands over when a fresh junior is elected/appointed.

I propose all embassy applicants must be prepared to do the hula in front of the RA before being granted an embassy.

This could land us in legal troubles if one of those ambassadors came from an ally! I propose citizenship be open to anyone with a forum account, regardless of whether or not they have a nation in TNP.

Oh, I do love that cute little crown. It's so sad I had to put its forger to death anyway. But, the law is the law, and he did say my IQ was below 40 million. I propose that Pauline Bonaparte is put to death and/or brought to my Imperial court for ridicule.

(Hint: Please try to follow the model set by previous posters and make these proposals to TNP law, not just random ideas.) I propose requiring any cultural event between TNP and a non-allied region to be approved by 2/3 majority vote of the RA.

I propose that Section 9.2 Clause 4 of the Legal Code be amended so that "Cure" is the only option.

OH SIEG HELL NO! I propose that the individual treaties with each of our allies displayed in the Laws section of the forum be condensed into one supertreaty to save space and memory on the forum. Posts: 122 Group: Members Member #49 Joined: Dec 6, 2015	But a single document for all treaties would need to be provided with an organizational framework for internal and external reference, and deciding which regions to place ahead of others in the document would create undue hostility and stress on TNP's diplomatic relationships. I propose that citizens must find a co-sponsor for any proposed legislation before bringing it to the RA.

I propose the in-game and off-site governments of TNP be divided and separated.
