The Liberal Republic of Floreinia is a country that aims to be a "safe haven" for people of all ages, ethnicities, and religions. We want to provide our people with the best life possible. However, laziness and crime is not tolerated. Although marijuana is legal, we do not tolerate drug use, not even cigarettes. In order to qualify for welfare or medical care, you must pass a drug and alcohol test. Drinking is legal in Floreinia, but not excessive drinking. Though we may seem strict with our laws, it is for the peoples' own good. It is not fair for lazy people and criminals to live off of our deserving peoples' money. If one does not pass a drug and alcohol test, they are presented with the option to leave the country, go to prison, or go to rehabilitation.

Floreinia was not always the free, safe place it always was. The Liberal Republic of Floreinia had a rocky past. This started with the 1964 Brazilian coup d'état. After the coup d'état, a Brazilian Military Dictatorship had risen; the peoples of Mato Grosso, Goias, Distrito Federal, Rio Grande du Sol, Santa Catarina, Parana, Mato Grosso du Sol, Minas Garais, Bahia, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Espirito Santo had decidied to rise up against this government. The result was the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Liberal Republic of Floreinia. Floreinia had always been inspired by the American Democrats, so they decided to change the official language to English.
