I still didn't bother thinking much about them seeing how I was still out to clear my head. As I walked my cigarette had burned down the the filter so I flicked it into the street. I walked up the steps to the door of my apartment building. It wasn't only my office, but my home as well. As I shuffled around to find my keys the sun had finally set. I went inside and walked upstairs. As I went in I could see that my assistant had already left for the night. I didn't blame her seein how late it was, and she seemed to have gotten everything that she need to get done, done.

I always seemed to sleep in on the weekends even though I did work on saturdays. I had yelled down to Yulia and got myself dressed. As I came down the stairs I saw her standing the with a fresh cup of coffee. Jex: Ah just what I needed. Thanks Yulia. Yulia: Your welcome. So how was your walk last night? Jex: Same as they always are. Found the park to be peaceful as it was before what happened to the poor lady. Yulia: Yes that was a terrible insidn't. Is King still shaken up by that. Jex: I wouldn't think so... hes pretty good at getting over things like that. I'm just glad we were able to put that doc away before he had the chance to do anything else..... so any calls? Yulia: None. And the mail is all junk again. Jex: sigh moves over to window and looks out We need another case soon other wise I'm not gonna have much money for the rent on this place. Yulia: I can alwals help you with that... Jex: No! I could never ask somethin like that from you. I know you have enough troubles as is... but thanks for the offer. Yulia: Anytime.

I always liked to get an early start into the day. I put on my suit jacket and made my way to the door. Yulia: Heading out sir? Jex: Yes, give me a ring if you need me. Yulia: Ok, see you later. As I made my way outside the warm sun beat down on my face. I wasn't exactly sure what it is I felt like doing so I figured I'd head for a walk around the shopping district. As I made my way there I noticed many people in a rush. I was always glad I never went for one of those desk jobs. Never was my style. Once I arrived I took a seat on a bench under the shade of one the many trees along the side walk. I watched the passerbyers move along. Some rushing, some with loved ones and a few tourist. A man with his radio on sat down next to me. He was listening to some people disscuse about what songs to play. If you asked me it sounded like they forgot the mic was on.
