I'll say no for the same reason I didn't apply. We have plenty enough admins. No one is misbehaving anymore, so the amount of admins we have is sufficient if not over-abundent. |

Absolutely not. It would only cause problems. I'm not saying Jerry would be a bad admin, I'm saying it would not benefit the forum right now. 1) As NFG said, we already have plenty of admins. I would say that we have too many. 2) There are plenty who have proven that they are trustworthy enough to help keep the forum in order. Jerry isn't the only one who would be a deserving candidate if we were in need of an admin. 3) Jerry vanished for a few months and the forum is filled with as many new members as old ones, and other people have left. You and I know that Jerry is a good guy, but imagine being in someone else's position. Isn't it a bit cruel to everyone else to make him an admin on his return when he has not even been here and gotten to know everyone? To many of the members, he is a complete stranger, and probably not someone they'll want in a leadership role straight away. |
