100 yen shop!!! for food and household things. Also found some kawaii Hello Kitty/Charmmy Kitty things there, and for just S$1+. (*^_^*) And 2nd hand CD/DVD shops for music/video. It's arranged in the same way as in a 1st hand CD shop, according to artiste. Got a Misia single for 80 yen (S$1.04) and it's in a pretty good condition. |

There's alot of idol merchandise shops in Harajuku! If I'm not wrong, the street is named Takeshita street or sth liddat... So, if u wan to decorate ur whole room wif ur idol's stuff, there's probably the place to go! ^.^ I tink tis is quite well known, even fer ppl who nv been to Japan. Akihabara is a great place to get all ur newest electronic gadgets, but who'd haf the money to spend on such stuff, right? But every new traveller who likes anime and manga would rush into one of the many multistorey shopping buildings which house all things anime! Definitely a haven fer anime lovers, it has a wide of variety of stuff which SG wouldn't haf, and it's relatively affordable too! |

I think I can check up the building location for the Osaka 100 yen shop, but might need more time to trace the places in Furano, Hokkaido (for the CD shop) |

Alas, I've forgotten the name of most of the cd shops I went to (other than otome roodo, which is of the few places which I can remember how to go to by myself)...eh will update when I actually have time to search for their locations. Remind me before you leave. Oh yeah there was this great 2nd hand VK shop in Osaka, near Amemura or Amerikamura. It had two floors and was full of 2nd hand magazines that I would have brought back to sell in sg if my luggage actually had space (1994 larc magazines O_o) Also the stuff there was cheaper than those from Tokyo shops. |
