generally i love japanese food but my favorite gotta be i guess the rest know what izzit already!!

actually we can even start a thread on how to prepare japanese cuisine. cos for instance, tempura has quite a few tricks to it :D

As in dip the prawn/mushroom/pumpkin into the batter and fry? I recall seeing the tempura paper to put on the plate to absorb the oil at Daiso.

idea of good tempura is to be juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. exact details of how to make...

My fave will always be Donburi, IMO it's the very epitome of wholesome diet haha.

Katsudon being the fave Donburi, I judge any stall or eatery based on its Katsudon.

There's a stall in Bugis Food Junction selling Omuraisu with ingredients directly imported from Japan. Only tried it once, though.
