Welcome to New Charles Xavier School for Mutants. A roleplay set in the Marvel Universe (Earth-616) which will change your opinion on Marvel roleplays forever (be that good or worse!). The roleplay is academy-set and will follow the basic code, such as uniforms, classes etc. as much as an additional storyline that will allow you to further develop your character.

Bryn "Drake" Merwin (2): Scott Summers.; (C): Ollie. If you're unaware of my backstory and need it, please contact me!
Character Name: Bryn 'Drake' Merwin ; Scott Summers.
Character Alias: "Cyclops".
Character Age: Sixteen.
Character Origin: Mutant.
Character Affiliation: NXS, Jean Grey Institute.
Character Birthplace: N/A - (Unknown).
Character Operating Area: N/A.
Character Abilities
Abilities:
(Advanced) Combat/ Fighting training: Having the memories of fighting alongside some of the best hand-to-hand combat artists in the world, Bryn "Drake" Merwin or "Scott Summers" has the ability to fight with some of the best precision and cognizance, making him easily one of the best in the entire New Xavier School. He's fully aware of how to do things many things from parry off unexpected attacks to disarming an armed gunman. With a couple of simple maneuvers, as Scott Summers, he is capable of putting one in a position whereas they are put in a proverbial checkmate, and are incapable of making any other moves.
Character Powers
Power: Mutant Physiology: After using a syringe with the ability to essentially bring him back to life in an alternate form, Bryn "Drake" Merwin returned to life from his brain cancer as Scott Summers. Bryn therefore returned with the exact abilities and memories of Scott Summers when he was of the age of sixteen. Bryn also has some memory of how to use Scott's powers, though not to the Alpha-Leveled extent that the current Scott has. At the moment, all of his memories are altered to match the exact of Scott's. He currently has no memory of his old life. However, of the memories he has now - these are his abilities:
Optic Blast: Bryn is able to release a large beam of concussive, ruby-colored force from his eyes. These concussive beams are delivered with a simple thought ran through Bryn's head, which almost immediately triggers the attack. The general height, width, and strength behind Bryn's attacks seem to increase through focus. This means that with optimum focus, Bryn's optic blasts can distribute bewilderingly strong power. The maximum force of Bryn's optic blasts are unknown (measured to be at 10 metric tons), but a commonly given description is that he can "punch holes through buildings", and he has been shown to rupture a half-inch thick strongly metallic plate.
Spatial Awareness: As "Scott Summers", Bryn possesses an astounding knowledge of trigonometry, knowing the location of objects around him and being able to measure the angles which correspond in the distance apart from them. Bryn has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to cause his optic blasts to ricochet and/or reflect off those objects in a trajectory to his liking. It also allows him to project his optic blasts with such preciseness that he'd be capable of hitting many seemingly hard to hit places.
Character Equipment
Equipment:
Bryn's Visor: The mask Scott wears to prevent random discharge is lined with powdered ruby quartz crystal. It incorporates two longitudinally mounted flat lenses which can lever inward providing a constantly variable exit slot of 0 inches to .79 inches in height and a constant width of 5.7 inches. The inverted clam-shell mechanism is operated by a twin system of miniature electrical motors. As a safety factor their is a constant positive closing pressure provided by springs. The mask itself is made of high-impact plastic. There is an overriding finger-operated control mechanism on either side of the mask, and normal operation is through a flat micro-switch installed in the thumb of either glove.

02/13/15 : My first day here was a mess. I don't know how I got here.. but it's been hell since the second I came. First, I had my eye literally plucked out of my head by Apocalypse, then was put under his "influence". Luckily, I met someone who can heal me. I'm still hoping that somehow this is just me falling asleep in the Danger Room. That soon Logan will come out screaming tactics to take down Apocalypse. That maybe Jean decided she wanted to get back at me by messing with my head. I don't like the new world I'm in, but I'll help these people get out this mess somehow. It's what Professor X would've wanted.
02/17/15 : It's been days since I've wrote, and yet a lot has happened. Where do I start? We had a mission to destroy all of Wakanda, leaving no one alive. Apocalypse pushed us to spare no mercy. I watched a girl focus gravity on a Wakandan's head until it splattered. I don't think I'll ever forget the look in his eyes. Afterwards, I watched two innocent boys get slaughtered by Apocalypse without reason. I was next unbeknownst to the fact that he's a villain, but such a crude and haphazard attack against two innocent children? This needs to come to an end. Somehow I've delayed praising Apocalypse though I gain less microfibers of hatred for him as the seconds pass. Will I soon become one of his mindless slaves dogged on bringing his every wish to reality?
