Stats
Seeing that this is a combat-based Roleplay, it's obvious that we have a system to differ ninja by ranks and skills. We use stat categories, which function on a way that doesn't only tell us how strong your character is in that category, but also gives him bonuses on learning techniques or training other stats. We have 8 stat categories, which are as follows: Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Taijutsu, Chakra, Dexterity, Strength, Speed, and Intelligence. In order for you to fully understand how each of these work, we're gonna guide you through them. Let's start from the beginning:

  • Ninjutsu measures your skill at how efficient and powerful your Ninjutsu is. The higher your ninjutsu stat is, the more high-rank ninjutsu you can perform correctly. Keep in mind that this isn't just a stat for requirement, but it also "increases the efficiency of your ninjutsu-based technique. It's normal, of course, that a character who has a "Godly" mastery in Ninjutsu, can perform a larger Fire Ball Technique than a character who's Ninjutsu skill is "Advanced".
  • Genjutsu is there to measure how powerful your illusion techniques are, much like Ninjutsu, however Genjutsu is much more devastating when used correctly. A high level in Genjutsu also means a high repel level. Performing an illusion technique on a character who has the same, or higher mastery in Genjutsu will be blocked out by the Kai (Release) technique.
  • Taijutsu like the other two, is not only a stat for learning new taijutsu, but also counts as a physical stat, much like the other stats down the road(Dexterity, Strength and Speed). It is noted this is the "weakest" of the skills, because unlike Ninjutsu and Genjutsu Taijutsu-users do not rely on their Chakra Pool to fight.
  • Chakra stat is actually your chakra pool. It's important to have a high chakra level, because chakra is your fuel for performing techniques. Without a high mastery in here, your Ninjutsu and Genjutsu stats become useless. Read the Masteries guide as well (down below) to learn how much jutsu you can use in a thread with each mastery.
  • Dexterity is your weapons technique. Not only throwing them, but handling swords and kunai knives. Obviously, the one who has a high Dexterity mastery is the one most likely to win in a weapon duel. This also counts as a hand-seal speed stat. A high Dexterity level is also used for dealing with wire-based jutsu, and is also a benchmark on how quickly you can, for example, apply poison to your weapons.
  • Strength is another physical stat. When you read through the Masteries guide, you'll find out the exact physical benchmarks for this stat (having in mind that Narutoverse characters are really much stronger than normal human beings). It involves not only your punching or lifting power, but your durability as well.
  • Speed is a physical stat which measures how fast your character can run, dodge, and basically do anything with his body.
  • Intelligence is one of the most, and at the same time least important skills for a character based on what they want. A high intelligence does not offer anything in the way of direct bonuses like other stats, instead it offers your character the unique ability to counter and read things in your opponents actions based on the situation as well as help you learn jutsu more efficiently. Read through the Masteries guide to learn what exactly do you gain with a high Intelligence stat.

Masteries
Most stat-based boards use number to measure stats, which is pretty precise, but also a bit nit-picky. We've decided to use the mastery system, and each of these stats have a total of 10 Masteries, and each of these 10 masteries have 3 tiers (which are numbered 1, 2 and 3): Newbie, Academy Graduate, Average, Intermediate, Adept, Advanced, Expert, Master, Supreme Master, Godly, and Unmatched.

A character only has three "Elite Mastery" slots. These slots are similar to the characters bloodline/ability slots- in that they must choose where to place their specializations. Each "Elite Mastery" slot allows for one stat to go beyond the (Master III) tier. Due to this, the character is limited in what they can become truly unmatched and legendary. Choices vary, but a character could choose to have a single stat (Unmatched III) and the rest as (Master III). Or perhaps they could choose to have three stats be (Supreme Master III), and the rest be (Master III). The choice is up to whatever you feel fits the character.

Now, each of these masteries are in a way, levels, which are exclusively bought with ryo. But to get your character in a situation where he can buy a Mastery, he needs to be in the 3rd (total) tier of his current Mastery, and advancing in tiers is only possible by training/buying the stats. It sounds complicated, but you'll understand everything when you read the Training guide down below.

When a character has bonus "Tiers" on someone, then they are considered to be 50% better at whatever it may be per tier. So someone who is Average Strength III vs someone who is Average Strength I, the first individual is 100% stronger than them- or twice as strong. This carries over to all masteries. Right now, let's explain the benchmarks of each mastery of each stat.

[tabs][tab=Ninjutsu]

  • Newbie: Lets face it, you're not just bad, you have absolutely no skill in this area, if you try using Clone technique it's going to look nothing like you and puff away in seconds.

  • Academy Graduate: Check you out, you can use E rank ninjutsu without looking like a dunce, good work kid. You're now ready to go out there and make a name for yourself. Okay, so that might be going a little far but you're on the first step and the chances are you won't be laughed at when you start to form handseals. You can even try your hand at a few D rank ninjutsu but don't expect to learn more than two.

  • Average: Okay, good work, you can now easily use E and D rank ninjutsu and have no limit for however many you learn. But lets face it, nobody wants to be known as the guy who knows every E and D rank ninjutsu possible so don't go shouting about it. Don't be too hard on yourself though, you're more than ready for the field and can even learn two C rank ninjutsu if you stretch yourself.

  • Intermediate: Okay, you're quite impressive now, I'll admit, but you've still got a long way to go. Whether it's zapping bandits, scotching fields, throwing rocks, cutting air or just taking a shower, you're really good at it now. You can even learn up to five C rank ninjutsu and two B ranks, just avoid indoor spaces when you're showing off now, okay?

  • Adept: Never thought you would get this far did you? Well, that's because this is where your teachers probably were when you were at the academy. You can now start forming hand seals with one hand for E rank ninjutsu, whether you've had an arm cut off, or just fancy scratching your head whilst you use ninjutsu, E rank ninjutsu are still at your disposal. That's not all though, you can learn as many C rank ninjutsu and even learn five B ranks.

  • Advanced: You're obviously quite talented for the ninja arts, as you got to a level that not a lot of every day ninja can get to. You can do E/D/C-rank ninjutsu in your sleep now, you're able to learn 10 B-ranks. But your artillery just got a bit larger.

  • Expert: Congratulations, you're an elite ninja by now. You're most likely highly-skilled and have loads of ninjutsu available to you, including ones from the E/D and C-ranks, which you can now all handle with only one hand. You can learn as much as B-ranks as you want, and also 2 A-rank jutsu.

  • Master: You're one hell of a ninja, and you've come a long way. You're a master on ninjutsu, as you can weave E/D/C/B ranks using only one hand. You've also expanded your limit on A-rank jutsu from 2, to 10.

  • Supreme Master: Expanding the human limits, you've grown to become a powerful ninja. You no longer have a limit on how many A-rank techniques. In fact, you can now handle A-rank techniques with only one hand, and you can now even learn up to 2 S-rank techniques!

  • Godly: By now you're probably the strongest ninja in your village or organization, or even in the 5 countries! You've mastered everything there is to master, as you can learn to perform, using only one hand, every E/D/C/B/A and S rank inside your affinity you wish! And not only that.

  • Unmatched: There are those that are godly at a form of energy, and then there is you. You are now capable of using any Rank Ninjutsu of any sort using no handseals at all- not even body motions are needed you're chakra control has reached such a pinnacle- capable of standing still and summoning two S-Rank Ninjutsu and dropping them on an area without a blink. {Base Madara}
[/tab][tab=Genjutsu]

  • Newbie: So, a beginner, huh? You most likely don't have any talent on this field of the ninja arts, as you clearly can't even get an applause from a street audience while performing a single E-rank genjutsu!

  • Academy Graduate: You're an ordinary street performer, with an ability to learn and perform E-rank illusions, while adding an ability to learn 2 D-rank techniques as well. Good work, but your skills are still far away from the ninja arts.

  • Average: Alright, looks like you're a hard one. You've managed to get your concentration together, and now you can easily learn every E or D-rank you'd wish, and you can learn 2 more C-rank genjutsu. Keep it up!

  • Intermediate: You're something, alright. You can even learn up to five C rank genjutsu and two B ranks. You can quite easily make a child think he's losing his mind with your skills, but you still have a long way to go.

  • Adept: At this level, you learned to be moe discrete when performing Genjutsu, as you can now cast these kind of E-rank techniques with only one hand. That's got to be useful, right? You now have no limit on how many C-rank genjutsu you can learn, and your B-rank limit has been expanded up to 5!

  • Advanced: Looks like you've decided to become a genjutsu master, and you're on a good path to do so. E/D and C-rank jutsu are a piece of cake as of now, and you're now able to learn up to 10 B-rank jutsu!

  • Expert: You're an expert on the matter, as there's surely not many of ninja with this genjutsu level. The fact that you can now perform E, D and C rank illusions without using both hands is probably gonna grant you even more victories over your enemies. To add on that, you no longer have a limit on how many B-ranks you can learn, and you've also unlocked a new rank! You can now handle various A-rank jutsu, but 2 is your limit for now.

  • Master: You're now a genjutsu master, and you're granted an ability to learn and perform E/D/C/B ranks, while your A-rank jutsu limit is expanded from 2 to 10.

  • Supreme Master: At this mastery, you're a feared genjutsu master who's illusions is everyone's dread. You can weave A-rank techniques using only one hand, and you can learn an unlimited number of them, as well as 2 S-rank illusions.

  • Godly: You know what this means! You're a godlike ninja in this field, as many often mistake you for a God of some sorts. You can now learn any genjutsu technique you want, and manage them using only one hand.

  • Unmatched: You are truly the pinnacle of Genjutsu users, capable of casting any rank Genjutsu you wish without using any handseals at all, without even moving- you can cast them from just standing still. Many never know if they are in a Genjutsu by you, or not when talking to you. {Itachi Uchiha}
[/tab][tab=Taijutsu]

  • Newbie: You basically have no agility, no martial art education, and barely any taijutsu abilities. You're alright when it comes to E-rank techniques, but then again, E-rank techniques are mostly sticking fingers in your opponnent's butt. So, work harder!

  • Academy Graduate: Alright, so you practice, it seems. You've been punching some bags, kicking some trees, doing some pushups, and looks like E ranks are a piece of cake for you! You can move yourself pretty well, and you can even learn D-rank taijutsu techniques as well.

  • Average: Not bad at all. But not too good either. You've been working hard, and you got to a level where you are able to perform E's and D's pretty well, and you can now even try and learn 2 C-ranks!

  • Intermediate: You're on your way to become a close-combat fighter. You can even learn up to five C rank taijutsu techniques and even two B ranks. You can quite easily perform some stunning moves with your body, and you're not a bad attacker either.

  • Adept: Remember those 2 B-ranks you can learn? Expand that to 5! Yeah, you're getting somewhere. Also, you acn learn as much as E/D and C-ranks you want as of from now. You're that awesome.

  • Advanced: You're quite a fighter, looks like there's gonna be something out of you. E/D and C-rank jutsu are a piece of cake as of now, and you're now able to learn up to 10 B-rank jutsu!

  • Expert: You're really a once-in-a-lifetime ninja, as you probably don't even need Ninjutsu or Genjutsu in a fight. To add on that, you no longer have a limit on how many B-ranks you can learn, and you've also unlocked a new rank! You can now handle various A-rank jutsu, but 2 is your limit for now.

  • Master: You're now a taijutsu master, and you're granted an ability to learn and perform E/D/C/B ranks, while your A-rank jutsu limit is expanded from 2 to 10.

  • Supreme Master: At this mastery, you're a beast, a master of disaster. You can perform and learn E/D/C/B/A-rank techniques, and you can learn an unlimited number of them, as well as 2 S-ranks.

  • Godly: You know what this means! You're a godlike ninja in this field, as many often mistake you for a God of some sorts. You can now learn any taijutsu technique you want.

  • Unmatched: The epitome of sheer Taijutsu and Martial skill, you have become incredibly skilled in the usage of Taijutsu- able to use them freely of any rank with no difficulty. You are able to utilize the Rare and powerful "Hidden Gates Forbidden Taijutsu"- do so at your own risk. {Might Guy}
[/tab][tab=Chakra]
Chakra stat is a pool that you're able to use in a thread. Each mastery has a number of points, and each jutsu-rank is worth a number of those points. Here's the list:

• E-rank jutsu cost 10 chakra points
• D-rank jutsu cost 20 chakra points
• C-rank jutsu cost 40 chakra points
• B-rank jutsu cost 50 chakra points
• A-rank jutsu cost 70 chakra points
• S-rank jutsu cost 100 chakra points

  • Newbie: 20 chakra points.

  • Academy Graduate: 30 chakra points.

  • Average: 50 chakra points.

  • Intermediate: 75 chakra points.

  • Adept: 110 chakra points.

  • Advanced: 165 chakra points.

  • Expert: 250 chakra points.

  • Master: 375 chakra points.

  • Supreme Master: 750 chakra points, +1 Chakra Regen a Post, Take 1/4 (rounded down) chakra damage.

  • Godly: 1500 chakra points, +2 Chakra Regen a Post, Take 1/3 (rounded down) chakra damage.

  • Unmatched: 3000 chakra points, +3 Chakra Regen a Post, Take 1/2 (rounded down) chakra damage.

IMPORTANT: This is the "base". Contests, Events, and unique settings can give you extra chakra that pushes you past this, but they are rare.[/tab][tab=Str/Sp]

  • Newbie: You're practically useless in the stat. as speed and strength both you barely can hold you're own against children, let alone real opponents, barely able to lift (1/2) your body weight in strength and move at (5 mph).

  • Academy Graduate: You're average at whatever you do for your general size and height, able to lift (2x) your body weight in strength and move at average human levels for speed (15 mph).

  • Average: You have hit the point that most Shinobi are actually considered to truly be "average" unlike before where you were the "average human". This is what most "Average Genin" have in a skill. Here you are able to lift (4x) your body weight in strength and move at around (20 mph).

  • Intermediate: Now we're getting somewhere. You've hit the point where you are now going at greater points. You're able to lift (6x) your body weight in strength and moving at around (25 mph).

  • Adept: Right now, you're on a level that proves you're on a good path. You're now able to lift (8x) your body weight in strength and move at around (30 mph).

  • Advanced: So we have reached the new point. This is the area in which you start to truly stand out, able to lift (10x) your body weight in strength, breaking through brick walls with your bare hands, and moving at around (35 mph).

  • Expert: Congratulations, you have broken past your mortal limitations thanks to the intense training you put yourself through. This is the area in which you start to truly stand out, able to lift (15x) your body weight in strength, breaking through brick walls, crush small boulders, and shatter the ground with your bare hands, and moving at around (60 mph).

  • Master: This is the point in which most believe you to be a monstrosity amount human's generally, even by Shinobi standards. Able to lift (20x) your body weight in strength, breaking through iron walls, crush medium boulders, and shatter the ground with your bare hands, and moving at around (100 mph).

(The Following Three Ranks are Unaccesible Without Jutsu/Custom Ability Bonus)

  • Supreme Master: Horrifying, when a character shows this kind of power physically every usually flee's and for good reason. Able to lift (40x) your body weight in strength, breaking through titanium walls, crush huge boulders, and shatter the ground with your bare hands causing shockwaves and crumbling the ground around you, and moving at around (500 mph).

  • Godly: If you were terrifying before, you're not far more so. Able to lift (100x) your body weight in strength, breaking through titanium walls, crush huge boulders, and shatter the ground with your bare hands causing shockwaves and crumbling the ground around you, and moving at around (2,000 mph), as fast or even faster- than a bullet.

(The Following Rank is Unaccesible Without Entering the 8'th Gate)

  • Unmatched: Power only achievable from the host being a powerful taijutsu user that has gone above and beyond- entering the final eighth gate. Able to lift (5000x) your body weight in strength, casually shattering diamond, shockwaves of your attacks changing entire battlgrounds, let alone when you use actual techniques, and moving at around (Mach 1000-8810.2), speed to distort space itself.
[/tab][tab=Dexterity]

  • Newbie: You're rather non-coordinated, you have 2 left hands and you're more than likely to hurt yourself using real weapons. By the time you perform 3 hand seals, your enemy had already died of old age.

  • Academy Graduate: Seems like you've been practicing a good deal. You're able to hit the bulls-eye, but only from 3 or 4 meters of distance. But if you take a few step backs, your kunai probably wouldn't even stick to the tree, if it would even hit it. Your handseal speed is on a fairly good level, but even now you sometimes make a few mistakes.

  • Average: Most Genin are at this level. You've learned to deal with a kunai and shuriken. You're able to launch a weapon that would travel 15 meters into the distance and still have power in it. You've improved your accuracy, and now your single throws are close to the target. You are able to rely on yourself to quickly weave handseals when needed. It'd be embarassing to miss one in a fight, wouldn't it?

  • Intermediate: You're practicing alright. You're able to control powerful weapons, and most of the projectiles you throw can go 20 meters into the distance. To land a precise hit, you need to be on a max. 10 meters away from the target. Your handseals speed is getting better and better. You're now able to change 5 handseals in under 3 seconds.

  • Adept: You're obviously hoping to achieve greatness in this field, as you trained your both hands to be almost equally dexterious. You can throw multiple projectiles at once (e.g. 5 shuriken in each hand), and still land them where you wanted them to land. Your throwing power is also a bit better, as you can now fire a 25 meter weapon, and land a precise hit on a 15 meter away target. When concentrated, you can go up to 7 handseals in 3 seconds. You can even use both hands equally well now, so welcome to ambidexterity.

  • Advanced: At this point, it's recommended that you gain yourself a sword-type weapon, if you haven't already. You could only rely on your weapons from now on. Not only as an attacking option, you can now defend yourself from any type of projectile or hard hit with a simple kunai. You can also land a precise hit with a projectile from 20 full meters. Also, by the time that projectile hits the target (about 5 seconds), you can weave the 10 handseals needed for a jutsu and back it up!

  • Expert: You're a walking machine! Your short, swift ankle flick can fire off a projectile that will land the smallest target from over 25 meters. In 5 seconds, you're able to change 15 different hand positions.

  • Master: At this point, you could probably decapitate a wasp that's 30 meters away from you, let anything else.

  • Supreme Master: You can move a heavy sword with a flick of your wrist, you can use it to shield yourself, to attack, you can throw it, you can do amazing things with your hands.

  • Godly: Right now, you're not only able to fire off weapons from a great distance, you're able to do anything else with your hands in a fast period of time. E.g. you can roll a tobacco cigarette in under a second, and you can pick your nose so fast that no one will notice you! It payed off to train it, didn't it?

  • Unmatched: The perfect weapon user, any weapon ever- even if you've never seen it before or even heard of it before becomes a form of death in your hands. Able to instantly master any weapon or tool, your handseals don't even register, moving at speeds even the speed stat can never grant- if only for that one specific thing. {Minato Uzumaki}
[/tab][tab=Intelligence]

  • Newbie: You're an idiot. You couldn't find your head with both hands and a map. You don't comprehend the basic meanings of the shinobi world, nor the chakra concept, which makes you basically suck at training anything.

  • Academy Graduate: Alright, you have some basic knowledge. You are able to work yourself up from here.

  • Average: You've been trained to know how to train yourself. You are able to shave off 5% off the word count needed to train through tiers or jutsu.

  • Intermediate: You're turning into a book worm. You have an understanding of many things, but most importantly, you understand your own self. You are able to cut 10% the word count for training through each tier or jutsu.

  • Adept: Brainiac, that's what you are. You are able to strategise in battle, and you are able to train jutsu and tiers with an amazing 15% discount.

  • Advanced: At this point, you can read your oponnents tactics, and you can do tier and jutsu trainings with 20% off.

  • Expert: Wise and intelligent, you probably understand things better than anyone else. Here's what you're interested in: you get 25%- from word counts.

  • Master: You're a brainy sage who understands the universe and probably solves advenced math problems just for fun. Well, good news. You get 30% less writing. You get +1 Artificial Slots through Science (Capped at 4 Total).

  • Supreme Master: You're probably not even reading this, as you're somewhere out there inventing pocket-sized devices that you can use to communicate at any moment from any point of the world. Alright, I'll stop with the fantasy. You get 35% off, you lazy know-it-all. You are Immune to E-Rank Genjutsu. You get +2 Artificial Slots through Science (Capped at 5 Total).

  • Godly: At this point, you can fool a man out of his mind with plain words, you can trick your opponents without using genjutsu, and you can... you're not interested at that, at all, are you? Alright, 40% less writing for you. You are Immune to E-D Rank Genjutsu. You get +3 Artificial Slots through Science (Capped at 6 Total).

  • Unmatched: True genius, some people are able to plan ahead- but you outsmarted them before they thought ahead. You planned what happened before it happened when it could have only possibly happened as you happened to watch it happen in your dreams and made it happen. You have a 60% discount on words for E/D/C-Rank Techniques, and a 50% discount on words for all other ranked Techniques. You get +4 Artificial Slots through Science (Capped at 7 Total). {Orochimaru}

IMPORTANT: The discount you get from your Intelligence stat is only for training threads, not for money purchasing![/tab][/tabs]

Training Stats
In order for your character to advance in the means of his Stats, you're gonna have to either train him or do other activities to gain money. As you already guess, here you can progress either by writing word-count training threads or by spending your already existing money, which you'd earn by doing missions and socials. Basically, you can either advance using either your experience or your training.

Now, since you already know here we use masteries, let's introduce you to a new concept, called Tiers. Each mastery has it's own tier, and that's the part that you can either train or buy. Masteries need to be bought! You cannot upgrade them with just your word count! Here's your training requirements:

Training Requirements (Click to show)

NOTE: You are able to purchase Mastery Upgrades without writing a training post, however it is going to cost twice the amount of Ryo to do so. For instance upgrading a Average Tier I to an Average Tier II, would normally be 1200 Words, and 1,300 ryo. Using this method you instead write nothing, and pay 2,600 Ryo. You may choose to use whichever method you wish.

NOTE: You cannot combine two trainings in one, as in double or triple the word count to each to gain multiple tiers at once. You also cannot do this with modifications via money. You can only improve your stats 24 hours apart.

Jutsu and Chakra
Jutsu, or ninja techniques, a ninja's main weapon. In your path to become a greater ninja, you'll need to know all there is about our jutsu system.
Let's start with a few basic rules everyone should keep in mind:

  • For doing a jutsu, you'll need a reasonable amount of Chakra, which you can ultimately run out of. To find out how many times you can do a jutsu in a thread, read the Masteries under the Chakra stat (post above).
  • After your character performs a jutsu, you must copy the code of it in the thread from our Jutsu Archive. Remember to put it inside the OOC tag.

Chakra, speaking in IC terms, is essential to even the most basic technique; it is the molding of the physical energy present in every cell of the body and the spiritual energy gained from the mind. Once moulded, it can be channelled through the chakra circulatory system, which is to chakra as the regular circulatory system is to blood, to any of the 361 chakra points (called tenketsu) in the body. Through various methods, the most common of which is hand seals, the chakra can then be controlled and manipulated to create an effect that would not be possible otherwise, such as walking on water, exhaling fire or creating illusions.

Each time you use a jutsu in a battle, it's mandatory for you to calculate on how many chakra points it took away from you and how many you've got left, and to show the calculations in the OOC section, where you would post the Jutsu.

There are also jutsu that require a constant emitting of chakra (e.g bunshin jutsu or boosters), and each post that the bunshin is active, it will take half (1/2) the chakra points that it's needed to perform it.

NOTE: If Your Chakra Hits 0, You are unable to perform any Jutsu, and exhausted. Completely out of breath, and suffer a loss of 25% (rounded down, Minimum 1 in each skill) in all skills but Intelligence until your able to regenerate your chakra back. You cannot take chakra pills while at 0 Chakra, or you deal C-Rank internal damage to yourself and get no extra chakra - you also can no longer regenerate chakra for 4 posts instead of the usual 2 because of the overdraw on your chakra pool.

Special Jutsu
Special Jutsu, are unique Jutsu that do unusual effects that are allowed but have their own specific set of rulings to retain a level of balance so that nothing spirals out of control from confusion on what is ok and what isn't.

Chakra Damage: Jutsu that deal damage to Chakra are allowed and come in two forms- "Semi-Physical" or "Pure Chakra". They must always be visible, and must physically contact the target to work.
  • Semi-Physical: Something similar to the Hyuuga's style, these deal 1/2 the physical damage they normally do for their rank/power, however they also deal damage to the targets chakra network equal to 1/2 (rounded down) the Jutsu's normal chakra cost.

  • Pure Chakra: These are similar but different, such as grabbing a target and decimating a large burst of their chakra. This deals no physical damage at all, but deals damage to the targets chakra equal to the Jutsu's normal chakra cost.

Chakra Drain: Jutsu that drain chakra over time instead of dealing instant damage to it, these have four different branches including 'Damage Drain & Restoration', 'Drain & Restore', 'Damage Drain' and 'Drain'. All require the target to be hit by a visible and avoidable force or strike.
  • Damage Drain & Restoration: This deals 1/2 the physical damage it normally would, before they take 1/4 (rounded down) the Jutsu's normal chakra cost in damage, and 1/2 (rounded down) of that is then restored to the user's chakra pool after the chakra cost of using this Jutsu is applied.

  • Drain & Restore: This deals no physical damage, but they take 1/2 (rounded down) the Jutsu's normal chakra cost in damage, and this same amount is then restored to the user's chakra pool after the chakra cost of using this Jutsu is applied.

  • Damage Drain: This deals 1/2 the physical damage it normally would, but they take 1/10 (rounded down) the Jutsu's normal cost per post over 5 posts, they do not have to keep contact as this drains- just hitting them once with it will do.

  • Drain: This deals 1/10 (rounded down) the Jutsu's normal cost per post over 10 posts, they do not have to keep contact as this drains- just hitting them once with it will do.

Internal Damage: These are jutsu that ignore normal defenses and hit strait for the body, it can be done through poisons, venoms, gasses, strikes, and so forth- but they always must be visible and avoidable. Should they hit however, they deal 1/2 the normal damage they would deal for their rank/power, but it directly hits the internals of the target full-force.

Buffing Jutsu: These are Jutsu that "Buff" the user's abilities in some way, at the cost of chakra. This grants them "Temporary Mastery Buffs" that increase their actual mastery but only for as long as the Jutsu remains active. Buffing jutsu have a total amount of Mastery "Tiers" they buff. (So it would not be an upgrade of Adept Tier I to Advanced. It would Be Adept Tier I to Adept Tier II, for +1 Mastery Tier, etc.)

Training Jutsu
The base way of learning a Jutsu is fairly simple. This is done with the help of a jutsu scroll (doesn't have to be purchased). Intelligence stat assists in lowering the costs or Word Counts of these Jutsu to be purchased.

NOTE: As for tier/mastery/stat trainings, jutsu training/purchasing can only be done once every 24 hours.

Elements
Every character has an "Element" this is ether Water, Fire, Wind, Lightning, or Earth. Kekkai Genkai or Clans can alter this to grant two and a "Special" element. The maximum amount of elements any Character can ever have, is four total. Characters without Kekkai Genkai are able to have up to four of the natural elements, but cannot have combination elements- as well, those with combination elements, their combination elements take up the slot. So a Kekkai Tota would have three base elements, and then their combination Kekkai-Tota element that uses all three together- that is their limit. It is to be noted "Medical Jutsu" takes up a character's element.

On-Creation:1 Base Element Unless a Clan or Kekkai Genkai/Kekkai Tota alters this.
Chunin/Equivalent:+1 Base Element, Unless they already have 2 or more Elements via Clan, or Kekkai Genkai/Kekkai Tota.
Jounin/Equivalent:+1 Base Element, Unless they already have 3 or more Elements via Clan, or Kekkai Genkai/Kekkai Tota.
Kage/Equivalent:+1 Base Element, Unless they already have 4 or more Elements via Clan, or Kekkai Tota.
