Customs Most members after a while of roleplaying, get various ideas on their own jutsu, weapons or any other kind of creations. We allow creating custom: jutsu, clans, weapons, puppets and summons. All of these have to be pre-approved by the staff in this board:Customs, and after that, you can apply, e.g. your jutsu in the Modification app. Before you go on to try creating your own custom jutsu, there are a couple of things you should now first: • in order to get a jutsu accepted, it has to have drawbacks, or weak spots. • everything that you create, must have a valid theory on how it works. E.g a weapon can't magically absorb chakra, and it can't be from another universe, so it has magical abilities. • clans also need to have a set of jutsu, and this is the only place you can have custom-element jutsu (jiton, chikiton etc.). If there's already a clan with the same custom-element, you cannot remake it. Please note that the jutsu that you're putting in your application are custom, but go under the category based on their Element (if Ninjutsu), or Tai/Gen category. You can get all additional information (forms, element color codes, etc. in the Customs board). Bloodlines Bloodlines, or Kekkai Genkai are a huge part of the Naruto Universe. However - here we do not encourage the usual "Bloodlines make you gods". We in fact enforce the opposite and do our best to make them as more roleplay flexibility - designed in such a way that a normal character with some creativity can be just as strong. With this in mind there is a basic guide for Bloodlines and Clans. All Clans and Bloodlines gain a very minor benefit- this comes in a multitude of forms but never anything to strong. The Senju's passive minor regeneration, the Hoshigaki's size and underwater breathing, the extra element from a clan that combined them, and so forth. Everything else will go by normal rules for any other character. As well there are some clans that are not possible. Normal Jinchuriki do not exist (instead having sealed "spirits" to create weapons for the village.) You must be born with a Bloodline. It can be "Awakened" later in life through a traumatic event however- but you cannot "steal" it from someone else without a Master Intelligence and alot of work. You can "steal" other kekkai genkai but it varies on case by case basis of what you actually get- for instance stealing a sharingan just let's you have access to the sharingan permanently in one eye- not the Uchiha fire benefits, etc. As for "awakening" and even improving (e.g. Sharingan tomoes) your kekkei-genkai, you need to visit the Clan thread. Each clan will have it's own way of awakening the bloodline and training to improve it. Note: Clans, Abilities, and Bloodlines have "Slots". Every character has up to three "Special Slots". These are taken up by custom abilities, kekkai genkai, and so forth. For instance, a Nara is 2 Slots- so they could get an extra ability that is worth 1 Slot that is custom. A character like Kakashi would have a 2-slot custom "prodigy" ability for instance, and 1 slot for "Sharingan". Summons Summons here on NTRP, are designed to be useful battle partners, that strictly come in a form of an animal. If you want a summon for yourself, you'll need to do 3 things. Here they are: • Make one. You'll have to create them, over Customs board, and wait for it to be approved by a moderator. After it's approved, you can have it inserted in your character sheet via Modifications. • Get a contract scroll, these are cheap at first but as you make more contracts with multiple animal species the price increases. Few people make more than two contracts however. • Get your ninja to learn the Summoning Jutsu, if you haven't already. It's a technique that allows you to call in your summon, in battle. After these things have been done, you can now summon an animal in battle. Summons are required to be purchased in order, one of each rank to get to the next rank and so on. However, there are a couple of things you should know about them: • D-Ranks are small, almost harmless summons that can be used for purposes of detecting (e.g Pakun). They usually aren't combat summons, but are useful. However, you can get a D-rank only as a Chuunin or C-Rank ninja, and they cost 1,500 ryo. • C-Ranks are combat summons, and they are usually just a tad smaller than the average human size. These cost 2,500 ryo. • B-Ranks are double the size of a human, and cost 5,000 ryo. • A-ranks are large, huge summons. In size, they tower over trees, and are even larger then most buildings, and cost 10,000 ryo. • S-ranks are odd- they are a backscale, only as large as a normal animal would be for their summon. They are very powerful and are able to use more than just normal Jutsu that fits their species like all other Summons. Instead they can also perform Senjutsu (no sage modes though) and they are able to use Taijutsu, Weapon-Jutsu, Non-Elemental Ninjutsu, and Genjutsu. As usual the Jutsu must be learned (beyond Senjutsu) like all summons must- alongside their "owner". They cost 15,000 ryo. • Two same rank summons can't be different sizes. • You can only summon each of your animal's once in a thread, and they disappear after 7 posts of the use they appear in, before they disperse. • They can't be killed, however they will disperse after a powerful, appropriately sized kick or stab. • They all have the ability to talk, so you treat them just like you treat NPCs. • Their stats are based on your own amount of power, as they base their power on you naturally- feeding on your energy you have to provide their supernatural abilities. On their own they have a set amount of stats- if they are not summoned and instead just brought there manually for instance. • Summons can have their own Jutsu that must be learned as per normal alongside their summoner. Once learned it is added under the specific summon in the character's profile. Summon's can only use specific Jutsu that fits their theme, a Frog can have Water and Oil- a Dinosaur can only have Earth, a Fox could have wind, and so forth. • Summon's Justu that come from them naturally (Frogs Water/Oil, Dinosaurs Earth, etc.) only cost 1/2 (rounded down) the normal chakra they would cost for all summons. This does not apply to S-Rank's Jutsu that do not fall under this category however. Here is the template you'll use in the Customs board: Empty Summon Template How to Fill the Template Out Pets Pet's are allowed here just like summons, and follow the exact same rules- except they have set stats, they do not get chakra or Jutsu, and rely entirely on you for such. Their stats are the same as summons have when summoned- but their Intelligence is always only Newbie, varying on the species- they can never talk and are in-fact, animals that are smarter than normal, but on the flip-side they cost no chakra to have around ether. They use the same template as summons, with the "element" category removed. Pets are always only the size of a normal individual of their species, or the size of their species that they could be as ridable as a horse- never larger. |

Puppets Puppets are a main weapon of a "puppeteer". They are almost always designed from wood and metal parts, and resemble humans. Puppets usually have mechanism inside of themselves, where puppeteers put weapons they'll missile out later. If you want to create yourself a puppet, here's a couple of guidelines: You can start with one by buying it, check the Shop page in Mods and Revamps to see the price (if you want to add weapons, durability (1,000 ryo per rank up), etc, the price rises). You can find the puppet sheet below, and you fill it out in a new thread in the Customs board. After you get it approved, you can get it implemented on your sheet via Modifications. • Puppets aren't ranked in any way beyond durability which starts at C-Rank for free and can be upgraded per rank- see the shop for details, and their design relies on you creativity. (Max height/length of 6 ft) • Other puppeteers can use your puppets with your OOC permissions. • Puppets are usually summoned, but don't have to be. You can either carry them with yourself or summon them, however, for summoning, your character needs to have the Summoning Technique in his archive. Note the summoning Jutsu is A-Rank and this is why most low-ranking puppet users carry their puppets. Empty Puppet template Now, here's how you should fill it out: Example Puppet template Medical Ninja A Medical Shinobi is a specialized form of Jutsu that allows you to access unique forms of Ninjutsu known as "Medical Jutsu" to heal the wounds of others and yourself. Medical Jutsu always requires handseals and usually takes time to heal wounds as a whole- as well as draining chakra to do so. Utilizing Medical Jutsu without handseals requires the mastery of Ninjutsu as well as Medical Jutsu- to learn Medical Jutsu you must have: • A free elemental slot to take your "Medical Element". • At least an Average Mastery in Ninjutsu. • At least an Intermediate mastery in Intelligence • Character must have an understanding of anatomy, biology, cellular activity, and proper knowledge of all all organs, poisons and so forth work- in other words it must make sense. |
