A few notes before you request that we add you to the forum: If your group contains several divisions, or is an alliance, you can only request one section. EXAMPLE: The Department of Emergency Management can have a section, but the Malton Fire Department and the Malton Police Department can't have separate group sections (They can have spaces within the DEM's section however) Your group must nominate an officer to manage your NecroConnect section. Your group must either show up on the official Group Rankings, or must have at least 3 members specified when you make the request (as well as links to their Urban Dead profiles). Dual Nature isn't considered a group, but a way of playing. Please do not request a group section for the Dual Nature "group", as it already has a place on the forum. (If your group would consider itself "Dual Natured" (Life/Death Culting don't count!) however, you can request a section as usual.) If your group has a wiki page, a link to it would be appreciated (This is optional). |

There are a few changes to the groups section. 1. All members should be able to reply to this thread or start a new thread to get a group forum set-up. Starting a new thread would probably be best, so we can keep everything for each group together. The new thread can be locked or moved to a private area after set-up. 2. Group membership will not automatically grant access to the zombie or survivor section. For example, previously joining the group CLZA gave access to the private zombie area. Now the private zombie area and private survivor area must be specifically requested in the appropriate thread. It is always recommended to request access to one of the private areas (survivor, zombie, dual nature), as that is where most game related discussion occurs. If your group doesn't match with survivor or zombie, just pick the one that is a best fit, as again it will not include the dedicated private areas. 3. Groups may have an alternative (or secondary) leader. The current leader must request a alternative and that user must already be a member of the group with a NecroConnect account. If, for whatever reason, you want a back-up but don't want them to have the ability to accept or decline members yet; make a thread in the public area of your group forum, provide the name of the user you want, and the conditions on which they should get leader status. (A couple of examples: "I run the NecroConnect group and I want Kirsty to be able to accept new members, please make him a leader." or "I run the NecroConnect group and if I don't log-in for one month, please make Kirsty the new leader.") I won't promise we will track when the one month hits, but this allows us to follow the leader's wish even if they aren't available. |
