It simply took the hits and just started lumbering forward. Karron watched as the beast started spewing gases out of its back. It quickly became apparent that the gas was a sort of defense mechanism of a sort. What kind of effect's the gases had, Karron was unsure. He wouldn't be able to know, unless he just decided to pick up one of the mutant girls and throw them at Haggard or if they voluntarily went up to the beast. He continued to back off from the monstrosity. He had noticed that Anna had ran behind him, attempting to put him and Alyx between her and Haggard. I am, in no way, going to be your shield... He continued to back off until he was past Anna and now behind her. He pulled out his Alcor Spiker and pointed it at Haggard's head. In a moment, he would start unleashing hell on Haggard.
