Heavy weapons are things like sniper rifles, missle launchers, and gatling guns: You don't find them everywhere. Heavy weapons are rarities outside of militaries, and these weapons rarely use plasma cores. Still, having one is considered illegal anywhere, so if you have one, hide it carefully.

Sniper Rifles

Military Grade Sniper
The Military Grade Sniper is a very rare site, mostly because it is illegal to have. While not practical at all in a fight, the weapon is meant for stealthily killing targets or defending an encampment. It houses a massive amount of power within it, so do not underestimate this weapon.
Type: Plasma
Damage: Rank 7
Gauge Usage:
6 (Spend)
2 (Level)
5 (Cooldown)
Notes: Sniper, headshot

Alcor Hunting Rifle
The Alcor Hunting Rifle is a far more common site than a Military Grade Sniper, but is still very heavily regulated. It is used for hunting in the Wilds, though most people prefer to have the Alcor Marksman Pistol in a fight.
Type: Plasma
Damage: Rank 3
Gauge Usage:
3 (Spend)
1 (Level)
3 (Cooldown)
Notes: Sniper

Heavy Artillery Weapons

Military Grade Vulcan
The Military Grade Vulcan is quite the artillery. It can cut through enemy after enemy rather quickly without having to worry about overheating. Usually mounted on walls or roofs, this is one of the best defensive weapons out there. Having one in personal in personal possession is not only illegal, it is unconventional, as it is so heavy that one cannot even run.
Type: Plasma
Damage: Rank 5
Gauge Usage:
10 (Spend)
3 (Level)
8 (Cooldown)
Notes: Fully automatic, chain-fire, mounted, heavy, no Mod slot

S2S Missile Launcher
Like the Vulcan, the S2S (Surface-to-Surface) Missile Launcher is extremely heavy and illegal. Unlike the Vulcan, it is usually used offensively, as it can easily breach walls and take out lofty defensive weapons. Launching heavy duty rockets, it is usually used to complement a raid squad or a offensive movement.
Type: Projectile
Damage: Rank 9
Gauge Usage:
10 (Spend)
3 (Level)
8 (Cooldown)
Notes: Heavy, explosive, no Mod slot

Defensive Flamethrower
The Defensive Flamethrower is usually controlled remotely and is stationed along a wall, usually around a gate or door. It has a devastating and immediate effect; while it has a somewhat short range, it can torch multiple enemies within a matter of seconds, sending them to their death.
Type: Stream
Damage: Rank 2
Gauge Usage:
7 (Spend)
3 (Level)
6 (Cooldown)
Notes: Heavy, chain-fire, burning, no Mod Slot

Acid Thrower
The Acid Thrower is a lot like the S2S Missile Launcher, in that it is usually used in offensive strikes. However, since it usually found on its mount, the weapon is usually used to cover retreats. It is also less commonly used defensively.
Type: Projectile
Damage: Rank 2
Gauge Usage:
7 (Spend)
2 (Level)
6 (Cooldown)
Notes: Heavy, mounted, burning
