Doo Wop. Posts: 363 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: February 8, 2008	Geography The single crescent-shaped continent of Earth is geographically varied. The continent is mostly located in the norther hemisphere, with a quarter of the continent curving down into the upper latitudes of the southern hemisphere. The northernmost part of the continent is located just within the Arctic Circle. On the southern tip and up for a distance is the New Lands, the dwelling place of mutants. Just north of this are the Moon Mountains, a mountain chain going east and west, topographically cutting off the New Lands from the rest of the continent. While easily traversable, the Moon Mountains are a living place for low-level Drones. The western edge of the continent is bordered by the Moon Mountain chain, going north for quite a ways. East of this chain is the Plains of Erubi, where dwell a vast population of Drones. This dominates most of the continent, with various lakes and mountains scattered across the land. North of that are the Jagged Peaks, which form a barrier between the Plains of Erubi and the Barren Cap. The Barren Cap is a snow- and glacier-covered area that is dominated by powerful Drones. Here is said to dwell an area in which one can directly commune with the Eonmind, though this is only speculation. There are some areas that are like the New Lands, in that they are able to grow produce. These areas are dominated by renegades, who develop their own cities from these areas. Most of these are scattered in the Plains of Erubi, but some have been found in the eastern Moon Mountains, living in caves or man-made "steps".

The exact year is unknown, but it is thought to be around 3600 AD. There are four dominant species on Earth now: Humans (bipedal species with superior intelligence and creativity), Droids (human-created race of independent, non-sapient, sentient mechanicals), Mutants (humans with mutated physical, mental, or spiritual traits), and what are collectively known as Drones (diverse hive-mind creatures with no intelligence that serve the Eonmind). Geographically, all land masses have formed a single roughly crescent-shaped mass. Continents have been reshaped and reformed during the Age of Waters. This land mass is about the size of the area of Eurasia and Africa combined into a solid mass, with lakes, rivers, mountains and the like. Soil in most part of this continent is considered unsuitable for growing produce, but grass and weeds will grow here. The areas that can grow produce and sustain life outside of common grazing animals, know as the New Lands, are home to mutant society and, less respectably, renegades. The sky is constantly overcast, and it is unknown when light will finally penetrate the cloud barrier. Interestingly enough, scientists predicted that this would cause a rise in temperatures, but temperatures have stayed fairly moderate. Ice has begun to reform in the North and South poles, and enough heat is being let into allow for life to replenish the surface. Snow, rain, and other common storms are still occurring. Humans and droids make their living above the continent in large floating structures called Arcs. While Arcs vary greatly in size, each are equally awe-inspiring. The largest of these, Avaris, is the size Alaska, while the smallest is about the size of Los Angeles. The technology behind the Arcs is classified, but is confirmed to be a collaboration of all three sentient races' technology and power.

Doo Wop. Posts: 363 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: February 8, 2008	The Eonmind What the Eonmind truly is has been constantly speculated on but never confirmed. Some think it is some kind of creature living beneath the continent, controlling the Drones above it. Others think that the Eonmind is the collective consciousness of the Drones. Still others, primarily mutants, think it is the spirit of the planet, awakened with the rising waters hundreds of years ago. Still, there are definately confirmed facts about the Eonmind: 1) it is neither benevolent nor malevolent, 2) it feeds off of alpha brian waves and electromagnetic radiation, and 3) it is sentient. The first arguement is supported by the fact that it needs to feed off of something to survive. Why would a spirit need to feed off of the brain waves and minute electromagnetic pulses? It makes no sense to these people. A good counterarguement is that living things need actual sustinence to survive, while the Eonmind feeds off of nonphysical energy. The arguement of a collective conscious is supported by the Drones' hive-mind behavior. What one Drone sees and does can be immediately routed to another Drone at any given time. However, hive-mind species can survive if they are cut off from the rest of their species, while Drones, when cut off, die immediately, giving the message that there is something more than just a collective intellegence behind them. The arguement saying that the Eonmind is the spirit of the planet has the most credance, mostly because there is so little evidence that is for the theory to refute. The idea is mostly a spiritual one dealing more with tribal thoguht, so atheists and non-tribal spirituals do not agree with this theory. Drones reside in the Wilds, continental area where produce cannot be grown. While Drones attack other beings on sight, the Eonmind has a reason to do so: increased stress and emotion give off more brain waves and electromagnetic pulses. The human government tried to stop others from entering the Wilds, where the Eonmind gets its energy from. The Eonmind countered this move by openly and successfully attacking all other sentient life. Now, the Wilds is considered hunting territory, where only those daring enough enter at tehir own risk of Drone attack. The Eonmind maintains contact with the rest of the races in direct form. After all, any decision that affects the planet affects the Eonmind. It has a general say in planetary events, and commissions Xygors as representatives of it, which are given seats on the planetary council in Avaris.
