This is a bit I wrote up after feelin all nostalgic after playing MMBN again. Of course it won't go anywhere, but its nice to remember the good old days. I'm using this topic to place old unused ideas, feel free to put in your own or critique whats here! Primary Upgrade System Battle Style Routine Developed by the famous Scientist Lan Hikari, the Battle Style Routine is based primarily upon the StyleChange system and the LinkNavi systems with its own flare. This system works by altering the paramters for combat to suit the user along with the user itself. Like the Style System, this system adapts itself to the user's fighting style, with the capability of learning its opponents fighting styles. It starts wiith first level styles, they are simple powers but they can be used as often as one likes. Level two styles are derived from two level one styles These styles can only be used every other battle, and have the combined powers of both the level 1 styles they come from along with its own power. Finally, ultimate Level 3 styles, best saved for the tough battles they can only be used once every ten battles. Along with all that, are Copied Styles. You can forget previously learned styles to learn new styles. Forgeting Level 1 or Level 2 styles won't force the user to forget any higher styles, however the user will need to replace that style before a higher one can be learned again. The user can learn an opponents style by fighting with them multiple times, allowing the Style Battle Routine system to analyze the target and copy the styles from their Style Battle Routine system. An old idea reconstructed for your viewing pleasure. Clear reference to a certain anime ;). Canti.Exe ( HP: 620 / MB: 200 ) Element: None Primary Weapon Right Guitar - Canti's right-handed weapon, its main section is round. Left Guitar - Canti's left-handed weapon, its main section is triangular. Special Attacks Transformation Blast - Canti quickly transforms into a long cannon that fires off a single guided shot, which does its damage then flies back down the turret. Berserk - Canti changes from blue to red, gaining great power and Speed for 3 turns. This can be used twice per combat, but at least 3 turns between uses. The Power of Atomsk - Canti overcharges with the incredible power of the pirate king. This ability can only be used after both Berserks have been fully used and 3 turns have passed since the last one was used. so its a power that is rarely used. During its duration, all Upgrade Systems, Custom Gauge, Sepcial Attacks, etc except the Passive Ability Flight are disabled. Instead, Canti gains the power equivalent to if he had loaded a Sword Giga Chip into each weapon as well as incredible speed, so much so that he can long range warp at will. This lasts for 3 turns, at the end of which his systems remain disabled until the end of combat. Passive Abilities Power Boost - Any non-Summon chip that deals damage can be converted directly into power for Canti's left and right weapons (they still require custom as if they were uploaded normally). Weapons with charges give a power boost to that many shots while Equipped chips give a longer sustained bonus (As long as the chip would have been equipped. Only one of each may be added at a time (In other words, 1 Sword and 1 Cannon can be combined for a greater effect while 2 Cannon or 2 Sword cannot) The boost effect is applied to one or both Guitars, however applying it to both decreases the effect. Also, Elements are retained for the attacks and multiple elements cannot be loaded together. N.O. Channel - From Kanti's Face he pulls out any Battle Chip that isn't converted into power for his weapons. This process slows the rate at which all chips can be used, however their power is increased. Flight - Canti can manage short range flight, able to fly in the air for a period of 1 turn before having to land. During Berserk and the Power of Atomsk, this time is unlimited. Blast from the past +Navi: Zeron -Configuration: XOM-01 -Element: Shadow -Karma: 100% -Primary Weapon: Shadow Buster - A simple Buster powered by Shadow energy. -Secondary Weapon: Shadow Sword - A Shadow based Sword that can be in either LongSword or WideSword form. -Special Moves: -Shadow Nova: Zeron concentrates, charging Shadow energy into his body for one full turn, during which time Zeron cannot use other moves/battlechips. This charge action is not interupted by damage or Standard Paralysis. Once charged, Zeron releases a fury of Shadow Energy in every direction. Cooldown of 3. -+The Last One: This is a special, more powerful version of ShadowNova that is unaffected by Friendly Fire Off! and disables Zeron's Special Moves for the remainder of Battle. -ShadowClone: Zeron Channels any amount of Hp above 10 to create up to 3 Clones per Battle. -Shadow Copy: Benefical BattleChip effects on the target are copied onto Zeron at their current status. Cooldown of 2 turns after the effects fade, or 4 turns, whichever is smaller. -Special Abilities: -Shadow Emulate: Zeron can use EvilChips as if his Karma was -50%. Zeron cannot use GigaChips, instead he may use DarkChips without DarkChip Addiction nor Karma Reduction, however they use 100% CustomPower. -+: Shadow Solar Convert: All Solar attacks that Zeron uses are considered [Shadow] instead, and all [Shadow] are super effective against the Solar Element. -Friendly Fire Off! - Zeron's Natural attacks may ignore Allies, passing straight through them instead. -The Buddy System! - An inherited ability, Whenever Zeron has an Ally in combat, Zeron and all Allies gain +1 Attack and Defense. -NaviFrame Upgrade: Peatra's Internal Power Upgrade! - User's special abilities/moves may contain/may be upgraded to contain unrelated/additonal components as long as the components still relate to the ability itself. -Primary Upgrade System: XArmor XArmor Pieces ShadowArmor Head Arm Body Foot |

+Navi: Hunter.EXE -Element: Null -Karma: -50% -Primary Weapon - Form Cannon A gun that can take two different forms. Starts off at Rank 0. -Secondary Weapon - Form Sword A blade that can take two different forms. Starts off at Rank 1. -Special Moves +Form Shift Can shift forms after two turns of being in that form. (See ability Battle Form Set! for all forms) +The Four Artifacts Within his body, Hunter has stored data of powerful items that greatly increase his power. Depending on which form Hunter is in, he can gain one of the following items for two turns. ++Black/Attack - NaviKiller Blade - A massive buster sword that is wielded one-handed with impossible grace and accuracy. Made of the darkest energies, NKB is devastating to any Navi hit with it. It takes the place of Form Sword and deals +2 ranks of damage and an additional +2 Ranks of damage to Navis. ++White/Attack - The Peacekeeper - A sawed-off shotgun also wielded one handed. Unlike most gun attacks, The Peacekeeper's bullets home in on enemies and pierce through any barriers and shields. It takes the place of Form Cannon and shoots off 3 bullets at once, each dealing +1 rank of damage. ++Black/Defense - Demon Mail - A black armor with insidious runes and markings all over it. In actuality, it offers little protection against attacks, offering a mere +1 defense against melee attacks. However, the Demon Mail offers much more than protection; it can unleash whatever is thrown at it. Any attack connecting with Hunter is automatically shot back at the opponent, dealing 3/4 rounded down of the damage of the attack. ++White/Defense - Shield of Order - This blank white kite shield is quite a wondrous object. Any attack connecting with it nullifies the attack and heals Hunter 1/4 of the damage of the attack. Hunter cannot attack with Form Sword or Form Cannon while the Shield of Order is out. Any other attack is still usable. Shield of Order does not stop any melee attacks, and unfocused attacks (i.e. Flashman Navi chip) do not activate Shield of Order Each artifact can only be used once per battle +Black Angel If all artifacts have been used, Hunter may perform a last-ditch Form, called Black Angel. Hunter grows bony wings and gains the ability to fly twice his normal speed. In addition, he gains the use of one Attack Form artifact and one Defense Form artifact; color doesn't matter. He stays in this form for the rest of the battle. While in this form, Hunter gains the bonuses of both Attack and Defense Forms and can switch Color Forms freely. However, any damage dealt to him is doubled after applying defense bonuses (i.e. Rank 3 damage with +2 defense deals Rank 1, times two is Rank 2). -Special Abilities +Battle Form Set! Because different Navis require different tactics to kill, an assassin Navi must be able to change strategies on the fly. As such, Hunter utilizes a special Form ability. Upon the start of a battle, He must select a Color and a Strategy form. He has the following to choose from, and each form gives him the following abilities. (Note: Color Forms do not change the appearance of Hunter, merely his weapons) ++Strategy Forms ---Attack - Hunter focuses on attacking and sheer damage. Useful for taking out support Navis quickly before they have a chance to set up defenses. Bonus - +2 to all non-Form Weapon attacks (including artifacts). Trade-off s- -1 against all melee attacks done to Hunter. Damage done to non-enemies (i.e. objects, shields, barriers) is halved. ---Defense - Hunter's body becomes more resilient and flexible, allowing him to dodge and take attacks more effectively. Useful for prolonged fights and taking large amounts of damage. Bonus - All attacks done against Hunter decrease by 2 Ranks of damage. Trade-offs - All defense systems Hunter activates are reduced in effectiveness by half. -1 to all melee attacks done by Hunter. ++Color Forms ---Black - Hunter's Form Weapons are charged with Evil energy. The Form Cannon takes the form of an uzi, dealing rapid-fire damage; +1/2 Rank of damage 4 times. The Form Sword takes the form of a dull and rusty katana; +1 Rank of Damage with a chance of a three-turn paralyzing attack. Any Evil being takes -1 Damage from these attacks, while Pure beings take an additional +1. ---White - Hunter's Form Weapons are charged with Pure energy. The Form Cannon takes the form of a magnum; +2 Ranks of damage. The Form Sword takes the form of a dagger; +1 Rank of damage with ranged capability, also deals 1 Rank of Damage per turn so long as the Form Sword stays attached to the target. Any Pure being takes -1 Damage from these attacks, while Evil beings take an additional +1. Forms cannot be changed mid-battle without the use of Form Shift. +No Hunger For The Damned Hunter is unaffected by DarkChip addiction. Karma penalties still apply. +NaviHunter Hunter's original and signature ability. Though it has been modified over time, it still retains its basic function: Hunter does more damage to Navis while less to all other types of enemies. Objects and defense systems are unaffected by this. Typically, against Navis, he gains a +2 bonus alongside his other bonuses to all attacks, including natural attacks. However, against all other enemies, he loses -1 to his attacks. -NaviFrame Upgrade: DarkChip Embed - Any DarkChip used by Hunter can be copied into his being and used once more. Fine, here's a quick navi I whipped up. Meant mainly for melee combat. +Navi: Brute.EXE -Element: Null -Karma: 0% -Primary Weapon - Fists A bludgeoning attack using a pair of very large fists. Rank 3 -Secondary Weapon - Bite A biting attack using a large fanged mouth and a pair of razor sharp mandibles. Rank 3 bite, rank 1 mandibles. -Special Moves >> Bulk up Brute.EXE starts to focus his energy to increase his muscle size, increasing his melee damage and damage resistance in the process. Affects Primary and Secondary attacks, in addition to battle chips. >>Spine Breaker Brute grabs his enemy with his enormous hands and bends him/her like one of those bendy straws that little kids use, with the mid back being the focal point of the bending. Attack usually results in the navi being left with a temporary broken back, being paralyzed from the waist down. Rank 7, temporary paralysis from the waist down. >> The Finisher Brute.EXE uses his fists to temporarily stun his enemy, before picking him/her up and bringing his wicked fanged mouth onto his enemy, using a shearing motion to try and tear off a limb. Brute.EXE then slams his enemy into the ground a twice before picking him/her up again and attempting to pull him/her in half. If the latter fails, Brute.EXE will simply throw the enemy into the nearest wall and if there is not a wall nearby, then he will simply slam his/her head into the floor. The finisher can only be used after six rounds of combat and can only be used once. Brute.EXE's custom bar is disabled for the rest of the battle. Rank 15 - 20? -Special Abilities >> Super strength Brute.EXE possessed enormous strength of which dramatically increases his melee damage, in addition to all melee attacks being used by him having the breaker subtype. >> Chitinous Armour Brute.EXE is covered head to toe in a thick carapace that offers natural damage resistance, though Breaker and Superbreaker subtype weapons can completely defeat it. >> Fast Healer Brute.EXE is much tougher then the average navi and Poison attacks have half the effect on Brute.EXE and last about half as long. In addition to resistance against poison, Brute also begins to regenerate health after losing 10% of his health. Brute.EXE is capable of regenerating limbs, though he will need to tear off a disabled limb for it to be able to regenerate. Because Brute.EXE is capable of regeneration, he is also capable of surviving attacks that would kill a normal navi. Attacks that don't exceed the amount of health Brute.EXE has left by 3 ranks leaves Brute.EXE with 1HP rather then 0. Glitch: >> Extra large Brute.EXE is quite big for a Navi, making him easier to hit then normal. >> Guns are for pussies Brute.EXE is not programmed to use ranged weapons properly. As a result, ranged chips take 2X as much custom to upload as opposed to other navi's. |
