Newbie Posts: 0 Group: Members Member #12 Joined: June 2, 2008	Summary: A retelling of the Maximum Operation saga, VS Operation pits Lan and friends against the malicious Kuro Syndicate. The world unites in order to stop Baron Jin Kuragari from accomplishing his evil scheme, but once again, the fate of the world rests on Lan's and MegaMan's shoulders! Preliminary Info: -Aiming for ten episodes. May lower as low as five or as high as fifteen, depending on several factors. -Characters and concepts from Dark Infection, all versions of Maximum Operation including the planned events for "Network Assault", Virtual Network, and Network Revival will be implemented. -Takes place after Lan's first days at middle school. Lan's circle of friends will include Mayl, Dex, Asuka Kasaya (FistMan's operator), and Irma Murasaki. -Kuro Syndicate is the primary antagonist group, but New Gospel will appear prominently. -Dark Infection becomes an active part of the plot, instead of serving as backstory. -An episode will be dedicated to the StarRoid saga, and will mostly be a sidestory. Zeta Operation will receive its own episode as well, but it will probably be more important to the plot. -Player characters from Maximum Operation will be included. Hattie and Nathan will both become important characters, and Alta is pegged for a villain role.

Before I start, you guys have to promise that you won't seek me out and stab me if I tweak some character backstory and traits...^_^; Anyways: -Will likely have 11-12 episodes. -Bass will be important for the New Gospel side of the plot. -Alta works for Kuro. He and Stephan Reiken had a previous encounter in which Zeron was nearly deleted, starting their rivalry. -Zeron's Shadow Force will appear in some capacity. Haven't decided how they will be implemented. (Oh, and I'm having trouble figuring out what Zeron looks like. PM, Taso?) -That huge, huge plot twist from Maximum Operation may or may not be included. -Network Assault and Zeta Operation's plot elements will be tied together. -Eternal Server (PureNet and Murkland) will be included. Not sure about how to explain their creation; leaning towards having Dr. Regal create it. -StarRoid operators will be based on Max Op Special (if that wasn't obvious). -A great deal of stuff between the Max Op's SciLab scenario and final scenario will be omitted. -Very few, if any, of the New Gospel members from the Revival topic will be in this version of New Gospel. -Nathan will use Marino. -Masaki (Virtual Network) will be an Official. Navi might be a heavily modified version of Starhaze. -HackMan's story and appearance is entirely changed.

Newbie Posts: 0 Group: Members Member #12 Joined: June 2, 2008	You know, I never thought to look at that topic. ^_^; After analyzing both profiles, I can tell you that: -The name will stay as HunterMan. -The physical description from Max Op will be used. If you would like to add more detail to that, then PM me. If not, I may add some details as the current description is sort of open-ended. -Ability-wise, I'm going to focus on the Form Weapons and the Four Artifacts. While Max Op eventually became known for its crazy and intricate special abilities, I want to tone things down a bit for VS Op. -He will be awesome.

Newbie Posts: 0 Group: Members Member #12 Joined: June 2, 2008	Things have been moving along with VS Op, but it has been awhile, so I figured that I'm due for an update. With VS Operation, I'm hoping to maintain a theme of panic while still keeping things in order. Due to the large amounts of characters, there will be action at all times, not to mention lots of separate plot lines. I foresee it becoming quite a challenge to prevent things from going to hell, but I think that I can handle it. Plus, I feel that I'm at my best when there is fighting. XP Due of the large scale of the battles, I can't really guarantee a precise number of episodes anymore. Also, the StarRoid episode is probably not going to happen. It kills me every time I think about that scenario, not to mention the Max Op Special debacle, but I've got too much to deal with as it is, so...maybe later? ^_^; There's so much that I want to get into, but I'm afraid that I'll spoil some things that'll come down the road, so I'll hold off on that. I will hype the first episode, though: Episode One: Rise of the Kuro Syndicate After his first day of middle school, Lan Hikari is heading home when DenCity suddenly falls under attack by a mysterious force. Trapped in the largest city in Electopia with danger lurking around literally every corner, Lan, Mayl, Dex, and new acquaintance Asuka fight for their lives. As massive of a crisis as that is, it is only a distraction for a second, much more discreet operation. What are the sinister intentions of this powerful new foe? And that's about it for this tiny update. I hope to have Ep. 1 out ASAP, but...well, you know me. >_____>
