I'm Thomas, playing a human, Damien.

I really enjoy the sense of community in larping and how the people have become like family. It's a good break from real life for a weekend to get to be someone else in a fantasy world and enjoy time with great people.

Damien is an orphan who eventually lead a group of orphans in the city of Angmare. He found his way to the new settlement of Shawnee and somehow became the Constable. It's a new place with new people and new kinds of danger. What adventures await? There's only one way to find out...

I guess I'll be the first to keep the ball rolling on this one.

I'm Bernard and I play a Human named Jean-Gaspard.
Jean-Gaspard is a Warrior, but he is a man of science and pragmatism. He was born the son of a mathematical genius, where he found his passion in discovery and philosophy. He traveled to Shawnee, looking to explore more of the world and learn what he could, but also was appointed a Councilman. Jean-Gaspard has yet to decide whether he wants to stay and help manage the town or remove himself from it and focus on his research.

I like LARPing because of its potential as a creative outlet and a way for me to just get out and de-stress every so often. It's also great for meeting a bunch of like-minded people and hitting them with fake weapons. Good fun.

Hi-lo nerds!!

I'm Rebekah, I play a Fae named Musica. (I will also be playing a Felinian named Tali, but she hasn't made it out to game yet, so I'll post about her at that time.)

Musica's deaf, so don't be surprised if she ignores you when you call her name. She ran away from a home who treated her, not as a family member, but as a servant...because she's deaf and her family didn't think she was smart. She's traveled the kingdom and has settled into Shawnee, willingly working for the Innkeeper and getting paid too! Don't let her childishness fool you. She loves teaching FSL to all who will learn.

[Side note: American Sign Language is used. In game it's Fae Sign Language, hence, "FSL."]

I, Rebekah, love larping because of the friendships I've made with some fabulous nerds. I love being able to make a character and write a backstory for her, then become that character. I've larped now for 2 years and I've learned a great deal about myself and about each character I've played. I can't wait to see where Novus takes Musica and the emotions and lessons I get to learn from playing a deaf character.
