Sharp Place • • • Brief Island Description: Vegetation is scarce and water seems lacking. Despite many clouds hovering above, the island get's little rainfall. The wild animals are aggressive and carnivorous, much like the islanders. There aren't many exports, but scientists do come time to time to study the soil. The island earned the name "Sharp Place" due to what little vegetation that grows having jagged skin rather than thorns. Behind the village lies a small area called Thorn Gardens. It's a rather sharp little place full of dangerous vegetation, and very agitated animals who never get a bit of rest. Locations: Sharp Square: This part of the island is in the...center? Maybe, the entire island is covered in spikes of varying sizes, so it's hard to tell, but essentially this part of the island is where people would congregate if there were any natives. The buildings around what used to be a street and a square with a fountain in the center show that there used to be human life here at one point, but that changed, possibly with the coming of the spikes. Pirates and marines alike have the potential to come to the island, so this area could have visitors. There are dull spikes that are only half an inch high that come up to this area, but at one point they were bigger. Shops and restaurants are around the square, but have been vacant for a while now. Pointy Cave: There is a cave that is noticeable from the square that has seemingly come from out of the ground. There are spikes littered throughout the cave, all of varying sizes. What appear to be cave drawings are on the sides of the walls where the spikes are spread apart, which appear to tell a story. It's said that the further into the cave one goes, the more full of holes they become. Sharp Point: (Get it?) Sharp point is on the opposite side of the island from the square, and it is the most flat part of the island, being that it is just a single giant spike coming from the ground shooting straight out over the ocean, coming eventually to a single point. The surface is smooth and there are no bumps of signs of damage. On the end of the spike are the unfortunate ships that have been impaled when it happened to be foggy around the island. |
