The Outside
Physical Description:
When it comes to her current physical appearance, Emilia does not look so different when compared to her old, past self. Quite pretty to the eye, she possesses short blonde hair, glowing pure blue eyes and a rather slim body despite the modifications that were done to her body. At first glance, it would be hard to distinguish her from a normal Human being if she is not wearing any clothes to cover up the rather revealing robotic parts on her body, such as her metallic elbows and golden metal parts that cover her legs.
Like most Automatas, however, Emilia does not really possess any sort of true nudity, seeing as she uses metal to cover her more obscure metallic components within her body. It is thus not surprising for her to wear what resembles gloves to cover her metallic skeleton-like hands underneath.
Clothing:
Similarly to most Automatas, Emilia does not wear any clothing when confronted with upcoming combat as she is aware it would only damage whatever she is wearing. After all, it is wiser to not wear anything on top of integrated weapons that can come out of the body whenever they can.
However, publicly, she is used to wear a black trench coat to cover her metallic body and thus make her appear a little bit more Human. The piece of clothing was offered by her father when he realized that she was slowly looking too physically robotic for his taste and that her appearance in public would start to frighten his allies. Thus, it is not surprising that she is used to wear it when close to her parent.
On very rare occasions, though, Emilia can be seen wearing a clear white dress that seems to have been dirtied and forgotten by time itself. The piece of clothing seems very old, but harbours what seems to be a source of nostalgia and great memories within the Automata. Usually, she does not wear this close to her father as he seems to quite dislike its presence, and so she wears it within enclosed rooms where no one but herself can see her.
Accessories: N/A
Extra: On many parts of her body can be seen a various amount of letters and numbers that seem to be equivalent to what would normally be seen on things such as weapons and armor. On the base of her neck, for instance, can be seen the word "LOTUS" and, on her head underneath her hair, "PROPERTY OF J. MERCIER".

Personality
Emilia was once considered by her father's closest coworkers to be a very kind and sweet girl. Back then, when she was still fully Human, one could have easily compared her to her father, who bore a very similar kind of personality. She was the kind of person that would always worry about everyone that surrounded her even if they weren't really in danger, and would always be there to help anyone in need.
So, unsurprisingly, she was a very friendly girl and was easily able to build lots of friendships around the area where she lived, close to the Marine laboratory her parents worked at. Being too young to remember it, she never recalled the disappearance of her mother, and so, unaffected by it, her childish curiosity once led her to the discovery of her mother's wedding robe. Ever since then, she grew very close to it due to how much she likes it, unaware of the fact that it is a source of great pain for her father.
Of course, being the helpful being she was, it was no surprise that she has also accepted to "help" her father's own works, of which, in reality, were supposed to completely modify her very own body. Before she realized what her father's true motives were about, the works were finally completed. All that Jonathan needed was for her to be Transferred into her new body.
After the Transfer, most of what was once Emilia disappeared as she slowly started to realize what her father was becoming thanks to the Triad he started to wear on his head. Losing her Human self and instead becoming a robotic slave to her father did not please her in the slightest as, helpless, she watched as he tore her away from all of the friendships she had built ever since her birth. Though he only referred to her as a "Bodyguard" for his own safety, Emilia could not believe that her kind father suddenly became so utterly evil, and so, out of spite, she decided to silence her voice, refusing to ever communicate with anything and anyone until she is freed from her torment.
As such, the kind girl became a weapon, and so, as she went ahead and killed any opponents or possible dangers to her father in the shadows, she slowly lost her sense of pity and mercy, too accustomed to the awful deeds to ever be affected by them any longer. Nevertheless, though she now cannot think of herself as anything more but a worthless piece of pathetic metal, she still relentlessly tries to pull herself away from her father's orders, silently trying to reprogram those limitations from her system as much as she possibly can.
However, hacking herself so many times can only lead to a greater loss of Humanity... whether she wants it or not.
History
Marionette de Fer
Emilia Mercier was born on the island of Water 7 a year after the marriage of her parents, Adela Schmidt and Jonathan Mercier. Her parents being scientist that were often working in their laboratory along with their coworkers, most of Emilia's early childhood could be easily considered as very unremarkable and tame due to how caring and kind her parents were to her. Being too young to remember most of what happened during that time with a clear conscience, it is also no surprise that, unlike her father, she cannot remember her mother disappearing, and so was able to live on her own alongside her father.
The rest of her childhood was also quite unremarkable, seeing as Jonathan made sure that she would never be in trouble. Her father being a Vice-Admiral in the Navy in charge of the Science Division's entire management and paperwork, Emilia was allowed to visit the laboratory from time to time and see whatever her father and his coworkers were doing despite the pleas of the latter people regarding her own safety. As such, she quickly grew interested in science and started studying some parts of it, mainly computer engineering and the working of atoms.
Unsurprisingly, her friendly attitude with everyone made her quite a remarkable figure, and so, throughout the next few years until her sixteen years of age, she made a lot of friends around Water 7 and generally lived a normal life. She grew accustomed to the likes of the city and enjoyed the company of many of the city's inhabitants, even though many of the subjects she learned in the books she studied left her sometimes distanced from those who were less educated.
One day, her father decided, in need of help in a personal project, that she could make a great partner. Emilia, considering this to be her very first chance at becoming an useful asset in her father's works, did not hesitate. For months, she worked alongside her father while they were at home, accomplishing any tasks he asked her to do, though without really knowing anything about the project as her father seemingly always seemed to refuse to tell her. Of course, he never seemed rude about it, but... it did seem a bit suspicious.
And then, suddenly, her father told her that the project was finally over and that he was completely done working on it. Emilia, excited, wanted to see how all of this time could have possibly served for, but her father told her that he'd show it to her the very next day. And so, disappointed, she went to her bedroom, though it wasn't without any excitement as to what was about to come.
What she had not expected, however... was to wake up in a metallic body that was unknown to her, unable to move and unable to speak. She can still remember everything vividly: the basement where they both worked on the project, the table that she was strapped to, the excruciating lack of any feeling... and her body, sitting there on a chair close to her, all the while her father simply stared at her, standing next to her like she was some sort of test subject.
She wanted to believe that what was happening was a nightmare, but it was unfortunately reality. Her father revealed to her that they were both working on a new body that could potentially allow her to attain what he considered to be a "pure form of Human perfection". All that time, she had been working on her new body and the weaponry that it held within its systems. It was a cruel plan that she had never thought her father would had ever forced her to do without even telling her about it at all. She couldn't believe her father did this all without her consent.
And yet, she could not rebel, for she had almost become the utmost slave to her father. With only but words, Jonathan was able to control every move she did, even going as far as to forbid her the ability to speak when she wanted to shout and cry for help. Eventually, as time went on and her father spread the word (with a fake sense of sadness tied to it) that she had apparently drowned in the water roads of Water 7, all of the people she knew were suddenly detached from her life, and so, helpless, she became what could only be considered to be a pure and utter puppet of steel and machinery.
She followed his father away from the city as they moved to another laboratory on the Red Line, in the city of Mariejois. During that time, Jonathan kept this act of sadness, even going as far as to tell the other scientists (with a fake sense of emotional happiness) that he had "recreated" Emilia into a robotic form, even going as far as to show her to them like she was some sort of object. Though his coworkers were a bit saddened by this news and, frankly, a bit creeped out by Jonathan's fake desperation in "bringing back" his daughter, it was then that Emilia, to her, was finally completely dead. If she would had been able to shed tears again, she would have cried in front of them right here and then as, at this moment, she was considered as nothing more but an object.
As time went on, Emilia was used countless times by Jonathan to rid him of potential enemies and political chores during his stay on the Red Line. For the next two years, she murdered people from the shadows, destroyed families and even sabotaged other people's scientific works. The culprit for all of these things was never found, as, being an Automata, she is equipped with everything to keep her from doing anything wrong. These acts were enough to kill whatever was left of Emilia's humanity, or at least what she considered those tied emotions mercy and pity were, as, accustomed to all these atrocities, she lost them all without resistance.
To this day, Emilia is still Jonathan's helpless property and metallic slave, though it is not without having lost hope of eventually liberating herself from the shackles that was forced upon her soul. Even now, she still tries, every single day, to escape the coding of her father by cracking into her very own code, bypassing barriers and deciphering any encryption she encounters...
... but there is still a long way to go... even for a person who has all the time she needs to do so.
Weaponry & Equipment
Weapon Name: Ten-Thousand Years of Suffering (T.T.Y.S)
Weapon Class: Kyouretsuheiki [Strong Weapon]
Description: The Ten-Thousand Years of Suffering are small blades that are scattered across Emilia's robotic body. Custom-made by her father Jonathan's private company, they can only be properly used by Emilia as they are all linked to her neural systems. She and Jonathan are also the only ones who can activate them and the combat protocols that are related to them should their use be advisable.
Though they are to be considered as blades, the T.T.Y.S are barely even recognizable as such, instead more like sharp shards of an unknown metal. In total, there are approximately two hundred of them. Each of these shards can attach themselves to each other, but they can also fly thanks to small thrusters placed underneath each of them. As such, any and all that can control this weapon has the ability to completely destroy a single army without even breaking a sweat, though, without doubt... it must have cost a fortune to craft these things.
Despite her father's constant want to use these shards, Emilia often hesitates to do so, sometimes refusing her father's access to her systems. However, she most often concedes after the second or third try, when her father usually threatens her with a memory wipe of her data.
Cyborg Parts & Weaponry
All of these cybernetics use Oxygen as Fuel. If Fuel is low, Emilia's systems will alert her of the low supply by allowing her to have the knowledge of it. These are one of the only times Emilia is allowed to learn about the state of her metallic body.
Current Fuel Limit: 456 This limit will be drained by Techniques that are underneath the "Cyber-Techs" category. Should all Fuel be consumed, the Automata can have the option to use the "Fuel" stat (originally, Stamina) instead of refuelling, but this can lead to heavy system malfunctions. If this stat reaches 0, the body will be forced to enter a state that will require electricity to function, which will render the Automata unable to fight any longer until proper refuelling.
Body Emilia's body, though mainly robotic, has a firm and distinct Human-like appearance to it. Though she would be quickly discerned as an Automata without clothes covering herself, no one would really think of her face as part of a robotic body at first glance. The body itself was constructed with Seastone, though it was coated with a golden-like paint on most parts. Skin-like leather was also used to cover up parts such as the face, but the entirety of the body is mainly made of the Devil Fruit-cancelling metal.
Entirely conceived by her father Jonathan Mercier, this body doesn't have a proper name due to her father's insistence on forcing this body to be Emilia's "true form" against her very own will. Though she never wished for violence, this body was entirely made with the sole purpose of pure and utter destruction, pairing it with the T.T.Y.S. system to make sure that she could take out dozens of foes all on her own without any trouble. As such, it is not a surprise to perceive a specific hole for each weaponized metallic shards all around her body. When not needed, they will be placed within the holes before being covered with a sheet of metal that protects them from damage.
Additionally, several rifle-like mechanisms were conceived to ensure that Emilia would also be able to fight from a certain distance without being disadvantaged. In such situations, the young woman will have access to two kinds of ammunition: T.T.Y.S. shards or Seastone bullets. Most often than not, Emilia will use the shards to not lose any ammo, seeing as the shards can come back to her after being shot. The mechanisms are located within her hands and feet, were her fingers and toes are used as rifle barrels.
Unlike most Automatas, Emilia does not have proper control on her systems as most of them are locked by her father's commands. As such, she does not have access to a proper H.U.D. and often reacts to system warnings either by reflex or instinct. When Fuel is low, her systems will force her to act as if she is physically tired.

Racial Trait
- Automata (2 Traits) Requires all Perfect Cyborg Traits + Scientist Trait - Automatas are a race of people that were once defined by organic flesh, though have later decided to transfer their consciousness into a robotic body. Thus, this has given them the possibility to become completely unable to be killed naturally, ageless and unbounded by the limits of flesh. They were ultimately created by Velvet G. Falcone after the World Government, having learned of the ultimate success of the transfer of her consciousness into a robot, decided to make her "Transfer" program open-source and able to be bought on computer chips.
Automatas are given the possibility to augment themselves by the use of advanced technology and intense programming thanks to a 50% Discount to all of their cybernetic upgrades. Additionally, Traits spent on their Perfect Cybernetics will be refunded and the character will be given the freedom to choose between two options: either four of them are spent on a maxed Stat-Altering Trait and the rest are kept so they can be spent on anything the player wants, or they are kept for higher-grade material for their bodies. If the second option is taken, the Automata will be given the choice to spend 4 of their refunded traits on a Strong-graded material for their bodies or all of them on a Dangerous-graded material.
The name of their Stamina stat will also be replaced by "Fuel", which will see its consumption increase as a result when using Cyborg Techniques. Also, unlike their Cyborg counterparts, Automatas can only consume Zoan-Type Devil Fruits. Although they still possess an actual Soul like most normal living beings, their bodies are, however, considered objects and will thus be able to be modified by the Zoan Devil Fruit's powers, seeing as they could be considered as Devil Fruit Weapons.
Saving Trait
- Fated (1 Trait) - When the character earns a trait point, they gain 1.5 trait points instead of the traditional 1. Fated acts as a banking system. These traits are usable whenever the taker sees fit. X does not have to be a whole number, and due to the nature of fated can be X or X.5 traits.
