The Outside
Physical Description:
From a physical standpoint, Robert looks more or less like your typical young adult, the kind that you would usually see hang out around arcades playing video games or staying at him to finish their scholarship duties. As such, if it wasn't for his bright blonde hair and the bits of hair on his chin, he would not really be very noticeable and would not stand out in a crowd of people, and his common brown eyes surely do not help his case. Even his height, which is more or less taller than the normal standards, is rendered unnoticeable by his usual slouched stance.
He usually appears calm and tends to put his hands in his pockets whenever he can. Most of the time, he seems very inoffensive, like he would barely hurt a fly on his very own. It is not often that Robert's face portrays violent or harmful expressions and, as such, it seems to be naturally akin to harbour a smile.
Clothing:
Robert's wardrobe is fairly standard. Most of the time, he tends to wear things that could be considered as punk or related to street gangs such as jackets, hoodies and chains, but he has been seen sometimes wearing more conventional stuff in times of need. This can be immediately noticed whenever he believes to be doing official business, of which he then tries to appear in a more appropriate outfit such as an office suit.
However, his most basic outfit is a black unzipped jacket over a simple white sleeveless top alongside blue jeans and white sports shoes. It is possible to see him wear the same jeans and shoes for over many days on end, seeing as he personally considers them to be his favourite wear.
Accessories:
Robert has a surprising amount of bracelets and wrist-wear on his self. They tend to mostly be chain-made, though some of them are also made of plastic and vary between being actual pieces of jewellery to products that are downright materialistic, such as armbands with the logo of a company or an actual bracelet of gold.

The Inside
Personality
Robert is a very calm individual. Well, at least he is on the outside. Most usually, he would be the kind of person that you would witness simply lying on a couch and staring at the ceiling as he loses himself in his wild imagination. In other words, he is what one would consider to be a very "chill" and relaxed person, which is rather ironic given the fact that he uses one of the most commonly violent weapons in history. Give him a ride to any place there is and there is not a lot of reasons he would find to refuse the occasion, especially if he is going along with people that he is familiar with.
He personally considers himself to be a deep thinker, sometimes thinking about things that might not really grab the attention of his entourage. Deeply embedded in politics and the ideas of society, he is very knowledgeable of the world around him, but does not have the motivation to change it, instead simply accustoming himself to it all. As such, his moral spectrum is very broad and tends to border between the light of good and the darkness of what people consider to be evil.
Though he does not really enjoy the basic things that would make a normal living being unhappy, such as being the target of hate or being subjected to drama, his competitive side - brought by his liking for sports - makes him really enjoy winning in anything, and so this makes him a person who quite enjoys combat in any form. Most often than not, even while playing basic board games, Robert will always play with the best he can possibly showcase.
Perhaps one of his most glaring weaknesses, however, is that he is, quite frankly, not really able to feel shame in many situations that are not tied to drama. Rather ironically, this makes him do things that one would not want to do without much care to it, and, most often than not, he is able to find enjoyment in these situations in some perverted way.
History
Winter is Coming Robert Ruth, born Richard Bonds, was born twenty years ago as the offspring of two powerful Witches known then as Jackal Bonds and Lilith Hyde. Though one would certainly find this fact to be rather interesting due to how needlessly fantastic it would be to be born with magical abilities because of their parents, young Richard never had the time to properly learn about them due to the life of his parents.
Both Jackal and Lilith were extremely dangerous Pirates who were purposefully using their powers to showcase the natural dominance of the Witches over every other "normal" individual there was. They were the Bonnie and Clyde of their time, blasting their way through several islands in order get as much money as possible. They lived their life with utmost disrespect for society and always felt superior to everyone due to the nature of their powers, but if there was one thing that forever bonded the two, it was their great love for one another.
Richard was born out of that love. Both Jackal and Lilith utterly adored him. They kept him along their travels onto the great seas for at least a year, trying to make sure he would always live along their side as a powerful Witch, but, before they could do so properly, Jackal were captured by the Marines after an extended period of combat operations in the Grand Line. Lilith, heartbroken, decided to then join Jackal and allow herself to be arrested by the Marines, begging the Marines to not hurt him.
Without any care, the Marines immediately arrested then and sanctioned them with imprisonment in the deepest levels of Impel Down where they would forever rot. As for the little Richard? He was taken away by the Marines away from his parents. They brought him to Water 7 - the closest island at that point in time to the arrest of his parents - and gave him to an adoption center. He was renamed Robert Ruth to preserve the secrecy of his parents and was properly taken care of by the people responsible for the adoption house.
Robert lived there until he was thirteen years old. Due to how busy the lifestyles of the people of Water 7 are, no one really wanted to adopt children, and so the adoption center became poorer and poorer alongside the children inside. Robert was not really popular with the other kids and so often hanged around by himself around the city, visiting the place on his own in his own childishly curious times. He was able to have a place he called home for at least twelve years before finally, after many economical hardships, the adoption center was forced to shut down.
The children of the center then lived in poverty amidst the poorer districts of Water 7. Robert was one of these children. Due to his early fascination for the city and ships in general, he decided to live near the docks. However, because his poorer kind was not welcome there, he decided to live instead in the junkyards of the city alongside most of the other poor children. Some of them do still live there and some have even made their own garages and docks of their own to make themselves a living. However, Robert, being the wanderer that he was, was unable to do such a thing. Though he liked ships, he did not want to constrain himself into liking them solely to survive, and so he instead decided to mostly wander around the city and survive in the little home he made in the junkyard with the debris that he found.
For many years then on, he lived within poor conditions amongst a crowd of poorer people that, depending on the time of the year, were becoming increasingly violent due to the floods that came from the punishing waters that surrounded the island. This unfortunately means that Robert had to fight a lot to survive against the others. Over time, he has been beaten multiple times, but has also beaten others to a pulp without much care or mercy.
It was only then that he found a certain baseball bat.
It lied in the scrapyard alongside many other useless items that people often threw away after they got sick of it. It was certainly a piece of pristine metal, something that any baseball player would have been proud of. For some reason, when he found it, Robert was quite attracted to it. He liked the grip, the weight and the power that seemed to stem behind its wake. He started playing with it afterwards, grabbing things and hitting them with the bat to see how far they would go. Eventually, however, his projectiles became more and more powerful... until, suddenly, he hit something and it started burning to a crisp.
Curious, he decided to go to a library and see what was up. Given that the librarians refused to let him enter the place first, he decided to break in during the night and steal some of the books that were there before bringing them back to his home. All of the books were about superpowers in general: Devil Fruits, magic, the supernatural, all kinds of stuff. It was this way that he found out that he was a Witch.
Using his bat, he then started experiencing with these powers he apparently always had. Sometimes, he hit things and they started burning, while, at other times, he hit things and they started freezing. This experiencing soon started terrorizing the people that once terrorized him... and eventually, everyone started to leave Robert alone, too afraid to go and hurt him any longer. Because he was aware that he could not destroy absolutely everything in the scrapyard, the young man eventually bought and modified his own baseball, with the scraps that was his pocket money, to definitely fend off anyone who would near his home.
Nowadays, Robert lives on his own in that same scrapyard of Water 7. After a long time of wait and of hope to finally leave the island once he possibly could, Robert has given up on the idea of leaving his home after he noticed that the city's crime spree was starting to become more and more aggravating to the inhabitants of the floating island. He has watched countless times one of the thieves of the scrapyard assault one of the visitors of the island, and he has also even watched others kill one another just for a piece of bread.
Though he believes that he can still perhaps leave Water 7 one day, he has now adopted the idea of becoming a simple hero for the people of the island, a man who can defend the innocent from the guilty. With the mastery over ice magic that he has built over the last few years of studies in the art of the mystique and the arcane, the young man watches over the city every day and night.
His ice shall guard the island... forever.
Weaponry & Equipment
Weapon Name: Metal Slugger
Weapon Class: Kyouretsuheiki [Strong Weapon]
Description: A rather bland, though quite sturdy-looking baseball bat. Made with a grey-coloured metal, it has the shape of a professional item that is commonly used by batters during a baseball game. Apart from that, there is not much else that actually makes this bat any more different than all of the others you would commonly see in any sport store... safe for the unusual magical energy that resides within it .
This bat was found by Robert in one of Water 7's junkyards when he was very young and has remained by his side ever since he did. He usually carries it on his back in its own leather holster out of combat and it was the item that helped him learn more about his inept magical abilities as a Witch. The young man does not know anything about the previous owner of the bat, but he guesses that the guy must have been an avid fan of baseball just like he is now.

Weapon Name: Surprise Baseball
Weapon Class: Kyouretsuheiki [Strong Weapon]
Description: A normal-looking baseball that Robert bought in a general goods store not long after he found his Metal Slugger and gained more interest in baseball and sports in general. Robert customized it himself during his free time as a child of the poorer districts of Water 7. This ball is usually seen either hanging around in the his pockets or being lightly juggled by the man with his bat.
What makes this ball different compared to other normal baseballs is that the interior of the ball is made of pure metal while the outside is made of leather. Robert decided to make it this way in order to fight properly against the rather shady neighbourhoods of Water 7's most crooked districts. As such, this ball certainly packs a punch whenever it hits somebody in particular.
Usually, Robert makes the ball come back to him whenever he uses it. As such, he never ultimately loses it, keeping watch on it almost at all times.

- Haki: Titanic Armaments (5 Traits) - Character's with titanic armour have the power to can pierce through the powers of devil fruits to touch the real bodies of their users. This power works through physical contact. When in contact with such a devil fruit user their powers, and in the case of Logias apparent invincibilities, do not manifest upon the area of contact. This manifestation returns when the holder of this trait loses contact with the devil fruit user.
- Haki: Observation (King Level) (5 Traits) - Characters with this trait gain the ability to discern other sentient beings beyond the realms of the basic five senses. They can pinpoint the presence of sentient beings within a 50m radius without physically seeing them and can register ten attacks through the Color of Observation. This trait offers the free Trait technique, "King's Observation".
Racial Trait
- Warlock (3 Traits) - A race of nomadic people who have been apart of he world for as long as the devil fruits themselves. Usually quiet about their abilities and such, they keep to themselves and live the lives of normal people. This race of people have no special physical attributes about them to set them apart from other humanoid beings. Witches/Warlocks come in all shapes and sizes, some of them even look like they may be from different races all together. However all of them seem to hold a similar trait among their magical kin, they all have some form of birthmark which can resemble a tattoo on their bodies.
Witches/Warlocks are able to call upon a single type of magic which is created through the bodies with the aid of Catalyst. They have a very hard to drawing out their magical powers without this catalyst and an even harder time focusing their spells without it. This catalyst is a focal point which lets them harness their magical powers in order to create potent abilities -- You only need one Catalyst to harness your magic, and the Catalyst is only required for you to be able to use your magic past rank 50. (20) Ability points, for all grades of weaponry.
- Ice Specialist (1 Trait) -Allows the witch/warlock to become more at peace with their natural magical potency. This trait allows them to create spells of their specific magic up to Rank 50 without a Catalyst. Can only be taken once!
- Ice Master (2 Traits) - Absolute masters of their specified magical focus, these witches/warlocks are able to create spells of rank 100+ with this trait. Requires: the Specialist trait for the same Magic. Can only be taken once!
