Only but the one with the strongest fists shall survive.
Name: Kamogawa World Boxing (KWB) Owner: Ryuuji Kamogawa Economical Alliance: N/A Renown: Famous Hometown: Grand Line
Biography The Kamogawa World Boxing organization originally started as a simple hobby for retired Bounty Hunter Ryuuji Kamogawa. Though the man decided to indeed step down from his job after deciding to create a family with Emilia Victoria, he quickly became bored after a month due to the fact that he had enough money to survive without even working at a job. Despite the fact that he indeed enjoyed his wife's company, he knew that he could not simply sit there and do nothing for the rest of his life, and so, moving to the Fighter States, he decided to open a gym where he could train people that were interested in his fighting style.
Having been quite popular in the past, the old man attracted many people to the gym, which brought him happiness and pride of his past. Soon enough, his boxing gym grew popular enough to start becoming a literal Enterprise akin to the many Martial Arts schools that are open in various parts of the world. The old man was happy for quite a while, but there was one thing that he did not want people to do: follow his own path as a Bounty Hunter. As such, he always told his students that they should never use their fists in an actual fight and instead simply keep them to the ring.
Thanks to Coach Kamogawa, the success of his gym soon grew to become something that all boxing fans in the world would have never expected to happen, mostly due to the fact that boxing was a sport that was quite obscure before the KWB. As more people entered the gym in hopes of becoming as strong as Kamogawa, the idolization of the Coach soon became, instead, the idolization of becoming the greatest Champion of all... and, like that, the KWB was born.
Nowadays, the KWB is now an impressively big organization that has many institutions all over the world for anyone to participate in. It was thanks to them that boxing is now one of the most popular sports in this entire oceanic world, creating new Champions that fight not for violence, but for pride and glory... which is exactly what Kamogawa wanted all along. Though they survive solely on the selling of tickets, the income alone from fans all over the world is enough for them to survive in such a way. Their popular boxing gloves also create a wonderful source of income from amateurs.
Quite unfortunately, though, the existence of the KWB as a whole has created a monopoly on boxing organizations. Smaller enterprises whom are solely based on boxing were forced to close down once the KWB had become big enough to swallow them whole, which made a lot of owners angry against Kamogawa. However, Ryuuji and his family have been quite secretive, and so they have never really settled onto an actual headquarter location, rendering the works for assassins quite difficult.
Most Important Personnel
- Ryuuji Kamogawa: Founder of the KWB and the legendary Kamogawa Boxing Institute. Most often referred to as "Elder Kamogawa" or "Coach Kamogawa". Ryuuji was once one of the strongest Bounty Hunters in the entire world and was famous for his boxing fighting style. Nicknamed "Red Fists Kamogawa" in his prime time due to his almost-constantly-bloodied fists, he decided, however, to abandon his Bounty Hunting career after he met his wife, Emilia Victoria, and instead create a business that he both considered respectful of his past and of the strength of the men he fought all around the world, regardless of their weight. Though he still leads the company with a firm hand and still trains amateurs whenever he can meet them, his 75 years of age are now starting to weight on him. As such, he is considering to give the reign to his son, Gon.
- Gon Kamogawa: Son of Ryuuji Kamogawa and soon-to-be inheritor of the company. Aged 18, he has always been interested in entering the boxing corporation as an actual fighter. However, he has never expected to actually enter the company as its actual leader. As such, he believes that he is not up to his father's wishes and is quite reluctant for the job, which disappoints his father who still continues to insist to this day as they both know Emilia Victoria is not an actual fan of the sport.
- Jean-Pierre Dubois: New World Boxing Champion of the Male series. Considered to be the strongest male boxer in the entire world. 50 wins, 50 KOs, 0 losses. Aged 20, he has only been boxing for two years, but he has consistently dominated the ring thanks to the monstrous strength of his incredibly tall body. He and Gon have been friends ever since Gon introduced him to the sport two years ago, which surprised his father Ryuuji. As such, Dubois often hangs around his friend to protect him from thugs that dare to attack the Kamogawa legacy. Additionally, he is the son of the infamous François Dubois, leader of the International Assassination Organization, but he is not an IAO agent at all, thinking that such activities are "not fit for a man like him".
- Katrina Zangief: New World Boxing Champion of the Female series. Considered to be the strongest female boxer in the entire world. 35 wins, 35 KOs, 0 losses. Katrina is, by far, an incredible fighter, though, to be fair, most people have deemed her as an "hidden male" thanks to her rather masculine body. Due to her gender and the overall awkwardness her body often causes in the mind of others, she has often been accused of cheating. Those who dared to do so are often beaten to a pulp by her fans... or herself. You might want the primer to do so in her place.
- Jason Hawk: Grand Line Boxing Champion of the Male series. 24 wins by jury decision, 1 loss. Hawk does not have any real fans. Though he is the champion of the Grand Line, he is widely despised by the boxing amateur community due to his incredibly insulting and arrogant personality. His background as a former Pirate Captain does not help him in the slightest either. As such, whenever he is in the ring, most people tend to boo him in hopes of forcing him to lose. The only problem is that the man actively enjoys such a treatment as it proves to him that he is strong enough for everybody to hate him, just like back when he was once a Pirate. Slimy, the man never really truly won anything, having mostly taken advantage of the referee and juries to bribe his way to victory. The only time he ever lost was against Jean-Pierre Dubois, of which he now actively despises. Countless times, he has tried to get into contact with the IAO, though it seems each of his Contracts are constantly refused for reasons unknown.
- Akane Makkunouchi: Grand Line Boxing Champion of the Female series. 25 wins, 20 KOs, 3 losses. Akane is an incredible fighter that mixes both incredible agility and boxing techniques to force her way to victory. Though it is most often not really the best strategy to use (as she has learned with her first 8 matches during her career debut), she has now been constantly knocking down anyone that stands in her wake with absolute dominance. As an out-fighter, however, most people tend to see her as weak due to her lessened physical strength in favour of speed and accuracy. This includes Katrina Zangief, who is a pure in-fighter.
- Masaru Makkunouchi: Blues Boxing Champion of the Male series. 12 wins, 11 KOs, 1 loss. Masaru is, at the moment, considered to be the next uprising in the amateur boxing scene. A rather obscure young man, he was personally trained by Ryuuji Kamogawa himself while the old man was on vacation in Loguetown. Ever since then, Masaru has been training constantly, feeling as though boxing is the only thing he can do, for boxing is his most favourite hobby. No one has really heard about him until very recently. His first loss was a major psychological blow for him after ten consecutive KOs, but he immediately rose back to the scene a month later. Though he sports the same family name Akane Makkunouchi sports, they curiously seem to have absolutely no real relations between one another. Even Masaru himself, who has been constantly asked about this specific situation, does not know the answer to this question, having mostly lived alone for the most of his life.
- Anastasia Zangief: Blues Boxing Champion of the Female series. 8 wins, 8 KOs, 0 losses. Anastasia is Katrina's little sister. Thus, rather ironically, it is not really surprising to see that she quite admires her elder sibling. She has decided to join the KWB championship the moment she had the correct age to do so in hopes of reaching the top of the world just like her sister did. Unlike her sister, Anastasia has a very feminine body. Though she is still young, most fans adore her simply due to the fact that she is quite beautiful, which does not please neither her nor her sister. The main advantage for such a state, however, is the fact that, like her sister, she is an in-fighter and thus possess incredible physical strength even without any real muscles to correctly show off.
Products
Kamogawa World Boxing License A card that every boxer of the KWB must possess to be allowed to participate in a boxing match set by the organization. The card has a picture of the boxer followed by his or her date of birth, hometown and most details about his or her body (gender, height, weight, hair color and eye color). The card will also display its expiration date, which is usually setup about three years after its creation. Should the date be reached, it will have to be renewed by the KWB. The organization can force you to re-do a Registration Examination if it thinks you are not capable of continuing to fight.

Contracts
- Registration Examination: A Registration Examination is the most fundamental thing a boxer must complete before entering the KWB. When a new challenger decides to enter the list of fighters included in the KWB's list, they must first participate in a series of physical tests that will allow them to prove that their bodies will allow them to at least survive a single Normal Match. After the tests, they will have to fight another boxer that wishes to enter the KWB in a three-round match. Depending on the performance of the boxer, the jury will determinate if the skills that were shown are qualified enough to be worth a Boxing License. If the fighter already has a Boxing License, there is no need for him or her to re-take the Examination.
- Normal KWB Match: Self-explanatory. A Normal Match is set up whenever two trainers agree for their fighters to fight between one another. This match can either be taken against an NPC (controlled by a Staff member) or between two PCs. Either way, the fighters will have to meet in an arena in their corresponding ocean after 3 SLs.
The match's rules go as such: maximum twelve rounds of three minutes each (three posts for each fighter = 1 round) and basic anti-cheating rules (no headbutting, elbowing, stepping on foot, pushing, clinching, etc.). A referee (with its own attributed stats) and jury will be of course attributed to each match. Should a fighter be caught cheating by the referee (Speed lower than referee's Accuracy), they will be attributed a single Warning. If the fighter has three Warnings, he or she will be automatically disqualified (DQ).
A fighter can win in four ways:
- KO: The good old Knock-Out, which follows the symbolic down system, of which occurs whenever someone is not standing while in the ring. Whenever that happens, the referee will start a countdown to ten. Should the referee reach ten before the downed fighter stands back up with a fighting stance, the match will be officially declared over by KO. The same will happen if the losing fighter is downed three times in one round.
- TKO: Technical Knock-Out. This happens whenever the losing fighter is completely unable to fight against the other fighter. In such a scenario, the losing fighter will most often be hit without being able to actually fight back. Such a version of the KO has been invented to prevent fighters from being downright killed in the ring.
- DQ: Disqualification. This happens whenever the losing fighter has been caught cheating three times by the referee. If one of the fighters is seen using Devil Fruit powers, he or she will be automatically disqualified.
- Jury Decision: This happens after the twelve rounds of a match has ended. After each rounds, the jury will give a certain amount of points to both fighters' performances. The fighter with the largest amount of points will be declared the winner.
Once a fight is finished, the winning fighter will receive a fixed Beli amount that depends on the ocean where the match has been settled. If the match was done in the Blues, the winner will receive 25,000,000 . If it was done in the Grand Line, it will be 50,000,000 . Finally, if it was in the New World, it will be 75,000,000 .
- KWB Tournament: A Tournament is usually held two times a year with multiple Normal Matches scheduled after one another with multiple fighters. Most of the time, such an event is done during the Winter (December, January, February, March) and Summer months (June, July, August, September). With tournaments being quite important as they allow many boxers to stand out in their ocean against its Champion, it is where you will usually see people getting titles such as "North Blue Champion", "Red Line Champion", etc. Though tournament matches only give a fixed sum of 5,000,000
per match, the winner of the tournament will be automatically given a level up in their Fame and win a fixed Beli price depending on the total DP the fighters have.
- 0-100 DP (Junior) = 20,000,000

- 100-200 DP (Rookie) = 40,000,000

- 200-300 DP (Inter) = 60,000,000

- 300-400 DP (Hard-Hitter) = 80,000,000

- 400-500 DP (Veteran) = 100,000,000

- 500-600 DP (Prince) = 120,000,000

- 600-700 DP (King) = 140,000,000

- 700+ DP (God) = 160,000,000

- KWB Title Match: A Title Match is where things become more interesting as they allow one to be able to access the title of Champion of a respective ocean. They will only be available during the first and last four months of the year, where Champions will have to defend their title against challengers. Matches will be set up quite similarly to a Normal Match along with similar rules, but the arena and number of spectators will be much greater than usual, and three downs in a single round will not result in an immediate KO. Such a view is always extremely impressive for young boxers who wish to become Champions as well.
Should the challenger win a Title Match, they will be given the belt of the ocean where they've fought and be given a level up in Fame along with a Beli income. The latter will translate into a Beli bonus of 10,000,000 that will given after the end of each SL done by this character.
