((lol it's fine and Aza would be healed if he got injured XP But yeah, that's fine)) She shook her head, "What if they shot you? And how would I bring you in alive? We have nothing that could be a leash... I doubt they would believe I trained a cheetah so well to be a well-behaved pet only to sell it for its skins..." She sighed, feeling drained. She walked to the front, chatting with one of the men taking coins from people. She smiled and flirted for a couple minutes, then the man thought and grabbed some of her hair, gently, and she nodded, looking a bit scared. She pointed to Aza and the man nodded, saying something, which she again gave an uncertain look about. She turned around as the man grabbed a knife, holding her hair at the small of her back and cutting off everything below that. He nodded and smiled, she motioned for Aza to follow her as they were let in. "I was trying to just get in, but he eventually said he would take some of my hair as payment enough..." She held what was left, frowning, "Women are not suppose to cut their hair, ever, it is... sin..." She threw her hair back, annoyedly, "Whatever, it's not like I care..." She folded her arms over her chest, scowling. The zoo was fairly large, but the animals were quite crowded, making a large piece of land able to hold much more than it should. Exotic birds to reptiles were caged here, only a few being shifters. There was no real order to the beasts, so finding a tiger turned out to be a difficult task. His cage was bigger than most of the other cages, filled with rocks, grass, a tree, some shrubbery and a trough with water to the corner of the cage. An orange and black tail flickered sleepily from behind the tree in the back of the cage. She cleared her throat, saying something in her native tongue. She repeated herself and hit one of the bars. "Sergei!" The tail stopped and a monstrously large body appeared in its place. He growled something and looked around before walking to the front of the cage. Leeria turned to Azaan, "He's mad I came back... Let's go find something to break the lock with so we can get out of here. He can just hop the fence in his human form, no problem so we just have to get him out of here and then we'll just walk back out the front before anyone even knows what happened..." She started looking for supply sheds in search of a suitable lock-breaking tool. |

So, where she was from, cutting hair was a sin? To Aza, that was so absurd that he couldn't help but scoff. Here, it was strange to find people who didn't keep their hair closely cropped. Aza himself, in fact, had abnormally long hair, and it barely reached his shoulders. To forbid one from cutting their hair, to him, seemed like superstition or ignorance. In any case, he followed Leeria, trying to help her locate her lost companion. He didn't like being in such an enclosed space. Having lived his entire life on the plains of the savanna, not being able to see more than a few feet in front of him had him sweating nervously. He wanted to run. He kept close to Leeria, though, mostly because she seemed to know where she was going, and also to keep her safe. There was not much law in places such as these, and Aza was wary. Most shifters placed little faith in humans, and he was no exception. As for breaking the lock, Aza had no idea. He knew of locks, but he was no familiar with them. Because cheetahs were mostly solitary, he really had no possessions. Nothing to hide. Nothing to keep away from others. "I'm afraid I'm not being much help," he said. ((Another pathetic post.)) |

"Not at all, I keep getting funny looks, but then they see you and look on..." She smirked when she found a run-down shed, opening the unlocked door and rummaging through the near-garbage it contained. She emerged with a hammer, "Besides, I do pretty well for myself, I think!" The area was still pretty desolate when they returned. She glanced around before hitting the lock with all the force she could muster, causing some of the animals to squeal in alarm from the loud noise. A couple people stopped and stared, wondering where the noise came from, but after half a minute they continued on their way. It only took two more good hits in succession to break the lock. At which point Leeria threw the hammer behind the cage and walked back to the front. "Sergie..." She murmured something to him and pointed to the door, then nodded, the large cat looking around the area before sitting back down and growling something to her. "We'll find him in the city, he has no clothes so he'll stay low. We just need to find him pants so we can leave without attracting too much attention..." The cat looked at Azaan, then came to the bars of the cage and gave a little snort. Leeria looked back at him, then pointed to Azaan as she spoke. In response, Sergie put his front paws against the bars and stretched to tower over the two of them, showing off his bulk to Azaan, "Dislike traitors. Remember, Male." He growled and got back down on all fours, curling up behind his rock to wait before he made his escape. Leeria sighed, "He's a bit grouchy... Come on, let's get out of here! Can you read the signs? I honestly don't remember how we came in..." She chuckled in embarrassment. ((soz more fail, once shit goes down it'll be much better >.<)) |
