BATTLE SYSTEM (VIA DICE ROLL)
The battle system is used when there is a battle scene. It is to prevent power-play and dispute among players. Without a battle system, players are left to decide. In the case of no one is compromising, it may result to a stalemate. This requires players with integrity in order to play a fair game.
The battle system can be omitted ONLY when the involved players have discussed and agreed on how they want the fate of their characters to end.
WILL I DIE WHEN MY HEALTH POINT (HP) HITS ZERO? (CLICK TO TOGGLE BAR) For D&D (Dragons & Dungeons) type of System, Characters do not have a choice of avoiding death.
But for this RP, we are more flexible to game-play.
THE PLAYER OF THE CHARACTER(S) WHO HAVE LOST THE BATTLE WITH 0 HP, HE/SHE HAVE OPTIONS OF HOW THEY WANT THEIR CHARACTER TO END: 1) Death 2) Serious or Fatal injury 3) Unconscious 4) Submission to their Opponent (Prisoner/slave/etc) 5) Discussion (via PM) with winning player to give flexibility of Character's well-being 6) Escape
WHERE IS THE DICE ROLL FUNCTION? (CLICK TO TOGGLE BAR) When you are posting, DO NOT USE the Fast Reply Box at the bottom of the thread. Instead, Click on 'Add Reply' or 'Full Reply Screen' stated in the thread. On your Reply Page, you should be able to spot a 'Dice Roll' button above the box.

Instantaneously, a pop-up box appears and will prompt you the following:

CALCULATING YOUR OFFENSE AND DEFENSE POINTS
When you have activated the 'Dice Roll' button, a pop-out window will appear:

| [num] is the offense/defense that you are using. [sides] will be 10 (Constant Number). [extra(opt.)], please leave it empty.
e.g. You attack a character using 'CHARACTER SKILL' (8pt),
So your input will be : 8d10
It will auto-generate a dice code for you in your Reply Box, like this [roll.]8d10[./roll] (Dots removed...). When you posted, a random number will be generated, something like this: [result]27&2:9:2:3:2:2:1:6,8d10,0,27&8d10[/result] |
OFFENSE & DEFENSE WHICH HAS AREA-OF-EFFECT IN ITS SURROUNDING
If your offense affects more than one opponents; Or your defense shields more than one ally The FINAL SCORE of your result will be divided equally via the number of characters affected by it.
e.g. The Dark Lord cast dark magic on the group of 4 people (Special Skill: 80pts). Each one of the four will receive 20pts damage from the Dark Lord in the process.
ELEMENTAL RESISTANCE, IMMUNITY AND WEAKNESS
For Elemental Offense or Defense, each Character are accustomed to any of the followings;
| a) Resistant - Lowered the amount of damage. (25%~50%) b) Immune - Received healing or no damage. (0%) c) Weak - Received twice the damage. (150%~200%) d) Normal - Received normal amount of damage. (100%) |
Players who did not state their Characters immunity/resistance/weakness (Especially if they are equipped with Elemental Armors/Accessories, will be assumed as 'Normal' to Elemental attacks. When your Character is resistant/immune to an Element, it is also weak against another Element!!
NO IMMUNITY OR RESISTANCE TO ALL ELEMENTS UNLESS YOU ARE AN ADMIN!
e.g. The Dark Lord cast dark magic (Element: Shadow) on the group of 4 people (Special Skill: 80pts). Everybody received 20pts damage but except one, who was weak in Shadow by 200% have received 40pt damage.

HOW TO POST IN A BATTLE SYSTEM
Do not worry if you do not know how to calculate the score, you can leave HP/MP blank and I can fill it up for you. After you have typed your part of the scene, please include the following status at the bottom of your post:
- Code:
-
[hr] Offense Points : (insert the 'Dice Code' here) Elemental : (state the element if any)
Defense Points : (insert the 'Dice Code' here) Elemental : (state the element if any)
HP: (Your current Health point) MP: (Your current Magic point)
AN EXAMPLE - PLAYER A
-
Ebil cast a Wind spell at Acania.
Initial Offense Points : [result]22&4:2:4:4:3:5,6d10,0,22&6d10[/result] (magic) Elemental : Wind
Defense Points : [result]22&2:7:4:9,4d10,0,22&4d10[/result] (with equipment) Elemental : Ice
HP: 250/250 MP: 15/20
- PLAYER B
-
Acania tried to block the attack by throwing herself to the floor before casting a fire spell at Ebil.
Advanced Defense Points : [result]33&10:5:10:8,4d10,0,33&4d10[/result] (with equipment) [I will explain about the 'Advanced Defense' in a bit.] Elemental : Normal
Offense Points : [result]31&4:1:2:10:5:9,6d10,0,31&6d10[/result] (magic) Elemental : Fire
Defense Points : [result]31&10:10:4:7,4d10,0,31&4d10[/result] (with equipment) Elemental : Normal
HP: (Not Sure)/250 MP: 15/20
- ADMIN
-
Ebil's Initial Offense Points: 22pts Acania's Advance Defense Points: 33pts Acania managed to dodge attack by: 11pts (HP: 250/250)
Acania's Offense Points: 31 x 2 = 62 (Ebil's weakness: 200% Fire) Ebil's Defense Points: 22 Ebil receives damage: 40pts (HP: 210/250)
- PLAYER A
-
((Weak with Fire 200%))
Ebil tried to shield himself from the flaming attack, knowing that he was weak with fire. But he was unable to resist against the flame and was knocked back to the ground. But he quickly stood up and cast another wind spell at Acania, hoping it will get her again.
Offense Points : [result]26&6:1:3:6:3:7,6d10,0,26&6d10[/result] (magic) Elemental : Wind
Defense Points : [result]22&8:6:7:1,4d10,0,22&4d10[/result] (with equipment) Elemental : Ice
HP: 210/250 MP: 15/20
The Advance Defense is an inclusion for Character(s) who got attacked first and defend self against the opponent's Initial attack.
Take note of the color codes that I have used that indicates which offense points and defense points that are calculated and determined the damage altogether.
Defense first before Attack.
So when it is the time for the opponent to post, he/she will know that his Defense have failed and will post to his/her scene accordingly.
- Code: ADDITIONAL DEFENSE FOR CHARACTER(S) THAT GOT ATTACKED FIRST (ON INITIAL ROUND)!
-
Advanced Defense Points : (insert the 'Dice Code' here) Elemental : (state the element if any)
