| It came as a scattered, throwaway thought. Not so present as to overtake your mind, but as one in a fit of boredom, wanderlust, or simple discontent. The world seems so small, these days. More and more is explained and pinned down, leaving less to be discovered each day. You are inexorably reminded afterwards of how seemingly boxed-in your house, your city, your country- how mapped out the world has become. Everything starts to feel claustrophobic- an open field feels like a cage, your room a dark, clustered corner no matter the size. And then it stops. The feeling snaps off like a lizard's tail when you open the door and step into a breath of air so fresh and filling that you're intoxicated simply by the feel of it in your lungs. "You are Safe. You are Happy. You are Watched." Welcome to Onism Dream. Give these a look to see if you'd like to join us in the Dream! >The Dream >The City >RULES >Roster |

The King Wears the Heaviest Chains![]() ![]() Liberosis 1. Lounge- The City Lounge nestled between the two halves of the Zenosyne river is well-known by the faceless locals as being wonderfully relaxing. It features all services for relaxation, meditation, and serenity from opulently comfortable rooms to the surrounding, calming music. Here, you can find:
The Casino is an impressive building, lit up at all times by the lights around it. Inside, it is a decadently furnished haven of magic and machine. Decorations float within the air, sweet treats and glasses filled with unspilling liquid floating above the heads of those who would consume them. Dancers take the stage, moving in strange, fluid motions with flamboyantly adorned costumes. Games, manned and unmanned, span the floor, waiting for luck to be tested. Each spills out a jackpot of coins to be used in another game.
The Infirmary stands near the middle of The City, a large building staffed with ready staff who seem to work magic on the wounded or sick. Broken legs are healed in a matter of minutes, soreness treated with bedrest. Everything can be healed in the Infirmary. Ambedo 1. Opia Bridge- The bridge stems the gap between the parts of the Zenosyne river, and seems to be a central part of the town, taking a lot of traffic in comparison to the other footbridges in town. 2. The Fountain- The massive decoration runs constantly, clear water always running. The bottom of the fountain is littered with coins of all kinds- seemingly from the many otherworldly visitors. Toss a coin in, make a wish. The town will grant it nevertheless. 3. The Residencies- Each building is two levels, each containing access to a hallway that leads out. Each floor is its own, fitted apartment, one bedroom or two-bedroom. Residency list is here. Silience 1. Keta Lake- A quiet lake that always seems to be filled with fish of many different kinds. In the middle is a small structure that constantly bubbles with water. 2. Vemodalen Concert Hall- A place to show off fine works of art, the building is larger inside than it seems outside, boasting vaulted ceilings, massive columns and a chandelier that seems larger than life. The stage is large and set with whatever the event is, though in between such events, musical instruments have been left out to be used by those who wish to use them. There are offsets of the main building in which there are multitudes of art being made- paintings, clay throwing, dance, and other forms available to those who visit. 3. Blank Shift Tavern- A large establishment that offers fine wines, sweet meads, heavy and light beers, champagnes, and a variety of alcohol never even heard of. It always seems to be full of the natives, who interact with each other, drinking with no lips and watching with no eyes. Mal De Coucou 1. Dining Area- Many events take place here, from parties hosted by the locals to events stemming from the tavern or nearby market, it's situated in a place meant to reflect the best of The City. 2. Vellichor Market- Stocked with shops, small stands, and trinket shops to fill every need, the market is full of villagers from Dawn to Dusk, either selling to other villagers or idling by their wares, gleefully greeting every visitor.
