Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

My picks:

North Carolina: Trump by 0 (less than .5%)
Ohio: Trump by 3
Georgia: Trump by 4
Florida: Clinton by 1
Pennsylvania: Clinton by 4
Iowa: Trump by 3
Utah: Trump by 4 (over McMillan)
Nevada: Trump by 2
Arizona: Clinton by 1
Colorado: Clinton by 4

Unexpected state: Trump wins New Hampshire

Under my scenario (but not with the unexpected state occurring) would put the electoral count at Clinton 313, Trump 225.
My picks:

North Carolina: Clinton by 1
Ohio: Trump by 3
Georgia: Trump by 5
Florida: Clinton by 2
Pennsylvania: Clinton by 4
Iowa: Trump by 3
Utah: Trump by 5 (over McMillan)
Nevada: Clinton by 2
Arizona: Trump by 1
Colorado: Clinton by 3
New Hampshire: Clinton by 5
Nebraska and Maine swing districts: Trump wins both

That would put me with an electoral count of Clinton 313, Trump 225.
edit: flipped two states -- Nevada to Clinton, Arizona to Trump. Early voting in Nevada does not bode well for Trump.

North Carolina: Trump by 3

Georgia: Trump by 6
Florida: Trump by 2

Iowa: Trump by 5
Utah: Trump by 3
Nevada: Trump by 2

Unexpected state: None, Trump only gets to 265.
Now Trump only needs New Hampshire, thanks to this brave Washington St elector:

He said he wouldn't vote for Trump or Clinton. That doesn't get Trump to 270 with New Hampshire.

Hey Brian, good to see your alive. Care to answer the question on your "some good news for the day" thread?

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

Favorable court ruling in NC today for clinton
Ohio as well.
For those keeping track, favorable court rulings in Ohio, North Carolina, and Kansas (not that it matters there) for democrats, favorable ruling in Arizona for republicans.

Strangely, I agree with all four rulings, even the Arizona one.

Let me guess, the local Democrat election boards ruled that the DNC could vote for anyone who died the past year? It's a known fact that Republicans poll very badly with zombies.

Thanks to Trump, zombies are more likely to vote republican than Hispanics are.

Very large early voter turnout in Nevada (most in Nevada vote early). More than 46,000 more democrats have voted than republicans and Trump would likely have to win election day voting there by double digits to win the state.

In 2012, 44% of the early voters were democrat, 37% were republican. Similar numbers this time around -- 42% democrat, 36% republican. When that split happened in 2012, Obama won Nevada by 7%.

If Trump loses Nevada, even if he won Ohio, Iowa, Florida, North Carolina, New Hampshire and the two swing districts, he would have only 264 electoral votes.
