Caleb Swanigan with only 16 points and 11 rebounds. What a loser. |

I will take any road win. Purdue will probably spend most of the season playing catch up from the Minnesota loss, but this is a good step. OSU will beat somebody good at home. Big game coming up vs Wisconsin. |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

IU with two home losses pretty much eliminated from winning big ten already. Hoping at this point to simply turn it around, make it to the dance, and improve so that we go into the tournament with some momentum FWIW. |

Finishing the year 14-2 would be a tall task. I think there's a lot of average in the league so if any of MSU/Indiana/UW/Purdue gets hot, they could rattle off a long streak. MSU may be at the start of one. |

Nebraska now 3-0....seriously, WTF. I think it does go to show that hot and cold streaks can come out of nowhere. Minnesota could be another contender for the Big Ten title. They did lose at home to Michigan State (I think by a point) but already stole a big one on the road at Purdue. Wisconsin will contend as well and seems to have a weaker Big Ten slate -- Purdue once, MSU once, Maryland once. Will be pretty telling next four (at Purdue, home against Michigan and Ohio State, at Minnesota). |

The Wisconsin game may be the biggest game of the year for Purdue. It needs help resume wise and Wisconsin may be the only chance at a big one left. And Purdue could really use the boost of winning the conference when it comes to seeding. It's SOS and record should be solid, but need a few signature wins. |
