Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Thanks Brum

Now let's go get it outright!!
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

I will feel bad if we cost NW a trip to the tournament.

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed

Don't. They had a chance to clinch it in Bloomington and pissed their pants.

Troll!!!

Jk I laughed. Plus the Big Ten is down and the balanced schedule probably helped Purdue.

It seems like we have a descent shot at getting a three seed if we beat NW and get to at least the semis in the BTT. We swept the team that beat Kansas and UNC.

You guys definitely had the best team this year. Most people when they talk about Purdue talk about the 2 big guys, but I think Thompson and Matthias deserve a lot of credit for leading Purdue to this championship. Nothing flashy, but always make the right play. I can think of another team that could have used more of that this year.

Mathias has been really really good. Probably didn't score enough to be All-B1G but not sure who I'd trade for him as a 2 guard, especially how he fits into this team.

I was just looking at Thompson's stats, and he has 22 turnovers...on the season! That's about 1 for every 40 minutes he played. Josh Newkirk and Robert Johnson both have more than 3 times the number of turnovers in just about the same number of minutes. Ugh! Says a lot about the difference between our teams this year.

You were complimentary of Mathias back in the day when maintenance crews had to straighten out the rims after he shot a few from behind the arc. I don't recall if you talked about his D, but I never expected him to be such a good defender.
