Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

Well the B1G is down so we should have been able to win it with me patrolling the paint, you as our point guard, and my sister on the wing. We didn't really earn it :(

Dc can bring up that 81.5% foul shooting average and your sister has game, but I think the only paint you'll be patrolling is the stuff protecting your arse from splinters. :P

Congrats to Biggie. Why has he been back in Ft Wayne so much lately? Saw him at HS Sectional game Friday night and one of my boys saw him at Sport One yesterday afternoon.

Probably just had some free time. They played last Tuesday and this Sunday and don't play again until Friday.

No one close to his level this year. It was definitely a one person race.

By definition of the award, Isaac Haas should have gotten sixth man of the year for the BT. Haas came off the bench in 16 of 18 conference games for Purdue and averaged 11 1/2 points and 5 rebounds in about 18 minutes of play. Baer averaged 8 and 6 in 26 minutes per game off the bench. Haas most definitely had a bigger impact when he was in.

Mark Turgeon put out some angry tweets about not having any players on the all-freshman team. Don't like him doing that, but he is right. Jackson and Cowan should be on the team and Iowa players Bohanon and Cook should not. Seems like Iowa got to many accolades.

Today IU can take the Hawkeyes out to the woodshed to show they are over-rated. ESPN had IU as a 1.5 pt fav last night.

Do you know his class schedule?

He's probably just skipping all his classes. That's how he's become an academic All American.

I know you are kidding, but if he is skipping his classes leading in the spring semester leading up to his getting drafted in the NBA, he's no different than tons of guys who are doing the same. I sure as heck don't think that Troy Williams last year was doing much school work in the spring.

Was Troy Williams an Academic All American? Seems as if Swanigan takes the classroom serious. I'd give him the benefit of the doubt.

And I have zero idea what Troy Williams was doing his spring semester. Nor do I care.
