The guy picked last in gym class

Forgive me for defending Swanigan if he were skipping classes. How rude of me. BTW, do you know the nominating qualifications to become an academic all-american? 3.30 and be a starter or important reserve. Swanigan's GPA as a 3.30 in general education/educational studies (which is a non-licensing major). http://www.jconline.com/story/sports/college/purdue/basketball/2017/03/02/purdues-swanigan-voted-academic-all-american/98645790/ |

Coach
|
He's not a Rhodes Scholar by any means but if he's got that 3.30, it means he's at least put time and effort in and has taken it seriously. I doubt he's been skipping classes. I know when I was in school there were normally times in my schedule where I could go home on a Friday and a Tuesday since it was so close. JK was just being a douche like he normally is towards Purdue so it's whatever. I'm surprised you as the troll police weren't all over him. |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

JK's daughter swims for Purdue, so he's probably becoming a closet Purdue bball fan. How's she doing, and what kind of times is she posting? We need all the help we can get to beat that little satellite school down in S Lafayette. |
