Vince getting two fouls really hurt Purdue. He's their answer to Jackson on the glass. |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

If Kansas plays like they have the last five minutes, no one will beat them. |

Coleby's job seems to be to foul Haas whenever he gets position. |

Well that got out of hand. Everything Purdue couldn't do, they did. And then Kansas took it and shoved it down their throats. Impressive team. |

Take concillation in the fact that despite not turning in a game plans for Northwestern, you were named PC Stellar coach of the year. Guided Northwestern to a third place Big Ten finish and conference tournament championship (although you did lose in the opening round of the tourney to Princeton). |

cam -- saying what you had said was getting said earlier at one of the Boiler sites (Hammer and Rails? don't recall), those people must be speechless since they thought Carson Edwards was the key player on the team. |

GBI's premium site. Nope, most are still blaming everyone else. Hell, some are saying his TOs were because others weren't aggressive. It's a full on love affair with him over there. I think he has potential and has some qualities, but he was Purdue's worst rotation player and one of its highest usage players. |

I think Carsen played about the same as 90% of the other guys in black. I don't blame our other players. I'm telling you the difference in what Carsen has to work with and what Mason has to work with. The guys for Kansa wouldn't fumble Carsen's drop offs. The guys for Kansas would give Carsen options on drives. I love that Painter got Carsen, now we just need some other athletes to put in with him. That's an actual post |

I do not think he played well. I think he would tell you that. Comparing him to the rest of the back court guys to include DM,, overall looking at defense and offense, he was probably second best behind PJT. I do think that he takes a lot of abuse here that is unwarranted or at the least can be applied to other players in the back court that get a pass. Examples-other players take quick shots, force feed a double or triple post defense, and especially tonight for whatever reason(s) got lost on defensive rotations. There was a lack of movement for long stretches and Cline/Mathias/Spike really struggled to get open for passes when KS turned up the heat. Thought that stretch in the first half when KS seemingly got offensive rebounds at will when he was not in game was turning point in game. He was not in the game then. When Purdue struggles offensively, I do not see it as because CE is forcing things, but more he forces things because Purdue needs a play or two. This is real life |

Here is where I will eat some crow: Dakota Mthias is better than I thought he would ever be, especially after what I felt about him during his freshman year. |
