Here's one last tribute to Hazell as we prepare to see what Brohm can do. [utube]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2OHb_jAvPM[/utube] "Drew Brees would be landscaping right now if he had to play for Hazell." lol |

http://www.purduesports.com/sports/m-footbl/sched/pur-m-footbl-sched.html Opening with a win over Louisville would make a pretty strong statement. Perhaps their new QB has a bad game? |

Why would they have a new QB? That game will be ugly. |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

Holy crap, I just assumed Jackson opted for this year's draft. I just checked and see he's coming back--ouch. |

That was better than anything Hazell did. |

Ohio isn't a world beater but they are s good MAC school. And Purdue handled them. That's a positive sign |

This site predicts a shoot-out today against Mizzou. It's a lot of fun to look forward to football games again! http://www.jconline.com/story/sports/college/purdue/football/2017/09/15/purdue-missouri-who-has-edge/667355001/ https://www.hammerandrails.com/2017/9/15/16310802/purdue-at-mizzou-predictions Edited by HoosierLars, Sep 16 2017, 11:04 AM.

I somehow don't have the SEC network, but Purdue is just THROTTLING Missouri. 28-0 with a few minutes left in the half. 336 to 47 in yardage. I think Purdue made a good hire. |

We knew it was a very bad sign when Hazell got one win after inheriting a 6-6 team. Damn, how did that guy do so well at Akron, and how could he underachieve for four years at Purdue? The good news is we have a future again. Boiler Up! |
