Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Could be a really big game for Purdue. With Minnesota banged up, this is the only real major challenge for Purdue on the path to the game vs MSU. They could really string together a nice long stretch of wins and solidify itself as a legit contender to be a 1 seed come March.

Michigan doesn't present the same problems that it did last year. When they played both Wilson and Wagner, they really stretched Purdue out and could still compete on the inside. Michigan is still good, and has a lot of players and shooters, but I think Purdue matches up fairly well. And if Wagner starts to pull Haas out and hurt Purdue, they can counter with Haarms.

Should be a good game. Purdue opened as a slight favorite.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

I'm sure Michigan will be looking at hoisting up a ton of threes. Will be interesting to see how Wagner/Teske match up with Haas/Haarms.

When was the last time we started 5-0 in conference? I think we are due.

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed

Looks like Barlow must have hit Haarms with a ball rack.

First 5 minutes showed weaknesses of both starting bigs. Haas struggled on perimeter on D. Wagner has no chance one on one in the post vs Haas.

Carsen throws more passes at our big guys' feet than anyone I've ever seen.

And Painter back with Haas immediately after Wagner goes out. Smart move.

Yeah, use the minutes where they are effective. I would guess we need Taylor before this is all said and done, I hope I am wrong. Although that doesn’t scare me like it used to

If Purdue shoots like this, they will beat virtually anyone.
