Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Purdue with an easy win and MSU loses a home game.

I think OSU is pretty good but will drop a head scratcher or two and they have to come to Mackey and doesn’t get a return game. Purdue already has the roadie vs UM and gets them again in Mackey.

Purdue in a good spot to defend its league title. And this year may result in a great NCAA seed. I think they are a 2 seed at minimum right now and squarely in play for a 1 seed.

We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

It's fun having so many weapons and watching Haas on the block just doesn't get old. That was an interesting bench T when Haas hit their guard in the throat. On the replay it was hard to tell there was any contact (doesn't take much to the throat.)

If i’ve ever seen a team in the driver’s seat this early in Big Ten play, it’s Purdue this year. Not sure what is going on inEast Lansing....they are lucky not to have three losses in conference after.

They’re pieces are kind of mismatched. Kind of like Purdue during Swanigans first year. They have a lot of front court talent but can’t really effectively play together all the time. And they don’t have much backcourt depth.

Up to #3, with a single vote for #1 in both polls. Tied our highest rank since 1988. I didn't know Purdue has never been ranked #1 before. That's a bit crazy.

I'm definitely way more nervous than excited by this. I can't enjoy nice things.

For some reason I could have sworn one of the Moore-Johnson teams reached number one in a poll.

If Hummel doesn’t get hurt and they beat MSU at home that Sunday (which they would have murdered that MSU team), they were ranked #3 and both #1 and #2 lost that week.

I’m gonna go throw up now.

Kenpom now predicts a 17-1 conference record. MSU game is at 49% and the rest are greater than 80% for Purdue to win. Chance for some big things.

16-2 if you count their upset loss to IU. ^_^

BTW, I expect that in the Purdue game, IU will look to play a 2-2 zone with Zach MacRoberts sitting on Freddie McSwain's shoulders.
