Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Stop Happ and this should be a fairly easy game.

But we know how things can go, so hopefully they are locked in and ready to play. I think this group is pretty focused, so I expect a good result. Just needs to avoid bad shooting and a hot night from UW.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

Well, that was a good start.

Not sure how Wisconsin scores 50 points in this game.

Watched most of this one. First time I'd really seen a Purdue game this year. Consider me impressed. No one is beating that team in Mackey this year.

That OSU game will be a good one and Michigan presents problems. If they shoot it like tonight, not sure who beats them anywhere. They curled off of screens more than I’ve seen ever under Painter and they killed UW with it. They just know how to play so well.

Haarms is going to be a pick and pop stud at some point in his Purdue career.

The last minute he was swatting everything on one end and drained a three--Boiler Up!

Now a 10 point favorite in every game except the MSU game (and that game is a one point game for MSU) on Kenpom. Also moved to #1. Makes them #1 on Kenpom and Sagarin

Not to be Debbie Downer, but I want this team to peak in March/April not mid January

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed
