Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,

Huge game tonight. Purdue needs to find its shooting touch, get a hopefully healthy Vince Edwards going, and shore up some defensive lapses.

Bates Diop is a handful and they have some other good players. I like Purdue’s chances but it needs to be better than it has been the last few times out.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

Two in state recruits expected.

Trayce Jackson Davis and Brandon Newman.

Vince with 3 misses in the lane to start. Need him to get going.

Defense has been fantastic through the first TV timeout.

Throwing it to Haas seems to work.

Gave them 4 and Musa freaking Jallow hits a 3. Gonna be a grinder.

Three 3s from non shooters, Vince can’t buy a bucket, and Haas missed a dunk.

Weird half. Feel like Purdue should be up more.

Carsen is going bananas. Purdue has missed a few chances to really separate itself.

Needs to stay solid on both sides. Quick shots and TOs can get OSU back in it quickly.

What garbage. Wesson and Jallow with three 3s a piece plus that banked in one late.

Oh well.

Tough loss...just a really down offensive night for Purdue. Haas was money in the first half but think he only had two points in the second half despite KWesson being on the bench with foul trouble. The defense was solid by Purdue but it's hard to win (and they damn near did and would have if they had gotten one rebound in the last 20 seconds) when only four players score and you don't get any bench points.

You let Wesson and Jallow try to beat you from 3 and they did.

OSU is a good defensive team so I figured it’d be low scoring. Can’t expect a couple of mid to low 20s 3 point shooters to go 6 for 9, including that banked shot that was off by about 5 feet. Sometimes it’s just not your night.

OSU led for 12 seconds. Unreal.

Yeah, you definitely want those two shooting. But offensively, out of Carson and Haas Purdue really struggled offensively (Haas and Carson were 15-24, the rest of the team went 5 of 23). Dakota had an uncharacteristic career high 5 turnovers.

BTW, Hummel does a real job announcing. Much better than the Indiana alum who does ESPN.
