Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Wishing you guys luck. Purdue's our rival, obviously, but I think they've always done things the correct way, something I don't think can be said about Michigan State.

I have to DVR it but it should be a pretty intense game.

According to @SynergySST Miles Bridges was scoring just 0.661 points per possession on pull-up jumpers coming into today's game (29th percentile). Bridges scored 0.514 PPP on pull-ups last year. Big-time game-winner in an area where scouts want to see him improve.

Because of course.

We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

Serious question: why didn’t Painter choose to foul? Purdue had s foul to give. Foul with 6 or 7 seconds left and make them inbound.

I personally would have fouled, but I think Purdue forced them into the shot they wanted. A pretty well contested step back 24 footer is great defense. Can’t imagine Bridges has hit a similar shot all season.

Just watched the replay of the game (I was out at a bachelor party during it on Saturday).

My Lord did they hit some tough shots. Bridges had to have hit 5-6 tough pull ups. Nairns it a prayer and I think Purdue lives with the Goins 18 footer up 2 with 45 sec left.

Other than that, I thought Purdue got the cleaner looks. Same as the OSU game. They just have to start converting them.
