Now that IU's season is done, wanted to wish your Boilers good luck in the upcoming NCAA tournament. While I certainly don't want to lose the 'Purdue can't win titles' line of arguing with Boiler fans B) , I am old enough to know what winning a title feels like and I hope that for the Purdue posters on this board you get a chance to feel that. |

Well that was just downright wholesome. Now I feel a little bad for trash-talking in your game thread at tip-off. No, wait, just had to fart. I feel better now! |

I had a feeling Rutgers might pull the upset and when I saw this thread, thought I was wrong, and brum was wishing us luck against IU today. I'm curious to see how the game flow went last night. Hopefully IU tired them out enough for us to get an easy win with a healthy Vincent. |

Heck of a good game going on tonight with Rutgers. They're playing their tails off again as is Carsen.

They are hitting ridiculous 19 foot pull up jumpers* |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

They did that for three games in a row at the BTT. |

For sure. It was unbelievable. Feel like if you just made a long video of all the shots they shot without being able to see if it went in or not, you’d think they shot like 35% and got killed every game. It was crazy, but good to survive it. Not much you can do when guys like Sanders and Baker are hitting those type of 19 foot step backs. Legitimately unguardable. |

Didn't get to watch it, and to be honest, was a little afraid to. :D Time to break the glass slipper of Cinderella #2 today. |

Sanders was taking those shots in the regular seasons against IU...and went 1 if 11. Same bad shot selection in the BTT and he went 12 of the 20. Not going to say that about Baker because his shot selection was good against IU. Report out of Riutgers is that Sanders is considering leaving and going pro. His whole body of work is a guy who shoots 40% and 22% from three. |

Will say this... the step back three travel is the most missed call in basketball. |

He just must not like school because I don’t see any way he gets drafted and I couldn’t imagine the way he plays would be wanted in Europe. |

From what I've seen from his body language on court, he thinks he is a better player than he is. Of course, if he didn't, he wouldn't have been taking (and making) some of the shots he took in the BTT. At Rutgers he can get away with doing that because they desperately need offense. He took 20 shots in each of the three games in the BTT. Hell, he went through pre-draft workouts last year....for some reason of which I have no idea. |

ESPN analytics projects Purdue to have an average seed of 1.0 (which means a #1 guaranteed) with a win today, 1.7 with a loss (so a chance at a 1 if other conference tourneys break correctly, but a #2 without help). They project Michigan with a 2.0 seed with a win and a 3.1 with a loss. Personally, I think that is too high for Michigan with a win....it's kind of like saying that Purdue and Michigan are both 2 seeds should Michigan win. |
