Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I think he would have probably gone in for a few minutes had the NCAA not ruled him out.

I don't think that last shot by Butler would have counted had he made it -- looked to me like it was off just late.

There is a 0 percent chance that Purdue puts him in with that significant of an injury.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

While I agree in principle, if we make it to the final four and are up by a insurmountable significant amount, he will see the floor if we have a timeout to allow it. He may come in with Luce.

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed

Maybe if Thompson had hit a free-throw, Haas could have gotten in for the last 2 sec?

Purdue looked easy to defend without Haas. Sad end to an absolutely wonderful class. I’d put them as dead equals to the ‘07 Class.

Hope this leads to better things than what that ‘07 class led to.

When we cut it back to 3 late I was hopeful that we would find a way, and perhaps TT would tighten up a bit and we would find a way. How good are we going to be next year?

If he gets a first round grade. Like every other early entrant.

I would agree. Obviously there are some exceptions both ways -- guys that aren't going to go first round go anyway and some that would that don't -- but for the most part that projection is point at which players go (or should go).
So let's restate the questionL do you think Carson will get a first round grade?

Here are three mocks in just one link....no Carson on any of them, which is good for Purdue.

TONS of freshmen in the first round and just a sprinkling of players older than that.

Probably not. He’s a really good college player, but doesn’t have the size the NBA covets. I think if he puts together an AA season next as the main, go to guy and plays on the ball all season, he will get looks next spring.

I think he has a great NBA body and would be a first round lock. He should definitely declare!
