Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Wichita St transfer. I’d imagine Purdue will be getting his commitment soon. If not tonight.

Guard who shot >40% from the field. Sit out one to play two.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

Wow, Oklahoma it is. Didn’t know he took other visits. Thought he’d only visited Purdue.

I think he visited northern Iowa also. As a BB fan, I could never understand why a player would want to go play basketball at a football school. OU can be ranked in the top 10 in BB and still not be able to fill their 11,000 seat arena unless they are playing Texas, Kansas, or Oklahoma State.

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed

He was actually pretty highly sought after as a late transfer. The feeling I had gotten from things following his transfer was that he was probably going to stay somewhere not that far from Wichita.

It was a very strange transfer....he was set to have an even bigger role at Wichita State with the number of graduate they had.

Yeah, I didn’t realize he took visits prior to the Purdue visit. Thought he scheduled only Purdue and Michigan visits, then took the Purdue one and cancelled the Michigan one. Thought that was basically a lock he was going to Purdue

As someone had intimated before, I believe that he started out looking pretty heavily at Northern Iowa to begin with. I had thought he had sounded from interviews that he would probably end up not that far from Wichita State.....he probably ending up not canceling the Michigan visit because he was going to go to Purdue but rather thought that he after visiting Purdue he didn't want to travel that far away from home and that it didn't make sense to visit Michigan if he felt Purdue was too far away.
