Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Looks like we have lost our second Rivals 4* recruit in a week. Doesn't surprise me a whole lot because a) Arkansas and UM are better programs than us, and b)Rich Rod and Petrino seem to both be scumbags. Oh well, life goes on, they both probably would have ended up beating up women or getting DUIs anyways. It would just be nice to one time get a highly touted prospect to actually work out, I think it'd do wonders for the program. Plus, in-roads into Ohio and the South would help.

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

Never claimed we weren't, hell I said Arkansas and UM were better programs. The only thing that gets me is that Roundtree had been committed since last May. Commit to a school, and then all of the sudden, 9 months later change your mind before the school can find a replacement. Thats some weak ass shit, things a Purdue caliber program must deal with, but its still pretty weak. The other kid wasn't surprising, his commitment came out of nowhere in the first place, but I'm not a big fan of UM currently, and Roundtree is a little shit.

Yeah there is no doubt that UM and arkansas are better programs than purdue but I just read an article on gold and black earlier in the week saying after his visit to UM he decided he wanted to stay with purdue... What was up with that?! Ugh at least the basketball program is looking up from the past few years.

Come on, man, but we have Hope! (Sorry it's still fun saying that.) ^_^

Meh I'm reasonably optimistic for next season, maybe out of necessity lol. I am hoping this is going to be one of those overachieving Tiller teams and hopefully Tiller will pull out all the stops and get back to some creative play calling again since its slated to be his last season. But, now that I've said this I have destined us for a 2 and 10 season with no wins in the Big Ten lol. *sigh*

As for the next four years, we shall see. Hope is supposed to be a fairly decent recruiter so we will just have to wait and see. Maybe hes the blood we need and is a step towards a more consistent program or maybe he will walk us off the deep in and down into the bottom of the Big Ten for many more years to come. Only time will tell my friends... only time will tell.
