  • How Far Will The Hoosiers Go In The Tourney?
Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

It's early, but here it is. Throw it out there while you can. I voted Sweet Sixteen and that's probably pushing it.

Sweet 16 is very doable. If the role players get their sheet together by March, a deeper run wouldn't be too surprising.

i say final eight, but that's not saying they are one of the final eight teams in the country which they obviously are not. for some reason i keep seeing dj's face in the "one shining moment" when i think about it, i think his passion alone will push them into the final eight ...heck who would've thought that the 02 team would make it to the championship?

I say elite eight, but that's putting my faith that Sampson will be able to take this talent and have them playing better by that time. All the news I've heard has been that Sampson is working on improving the offense and movement. Hopefully that becomes evident soon.

The one thing I do like is that we have the talent and guardplay to beat anybody on any given night. All the "experts" say that the backcourt play and perimeter shooting is very important in March, and we don't lack talent in either area.

We look like a Sweet 16 team right now. It is possible that we could lose in the first weekend. :( It's also possible that we could make a run to the Elite 8. :D It all comes down to what seed we get, who's in our bracket, and if we actually show up come Tourney Time.

Come tourney time, it may not be possible for DJ to let us lose. I'm having a good day so i'll make the first official final four prediction. We get bounced by Duke in the final four thanks to the zebras.

It has to do with post count, obatskii. Bri changed it from Freshman to Ben Allen :)

I think it shifts up to Sophmore after 25 or 30 posts. Post like crazy and SHAKE THE ALLEN.

BTW, I posted that avatar for you in the Sigs/Avatar Thread if you want it.
