Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

...that this year there's actually a legitimate reason for PU and IU to be ripping into each other based on both of our teams' success? for a while it has been a waste of time given the disparity between the two teams.

last year you guys finished even with us at the national level, but for a lot of that season it was pretty sad.

yeah, the Danny Bonaduces are becoming somewhat relevant for the first time since Cardinal was flopping and wiping tears out of his eyes at the free throw line.

welcome to the new millenium furnace builders!

It is nice to play meaningful games each and every game. Last season gave us a nice taste. I don't think we were all that different than IU last year, we just had zero depth. Plus, we liked to fold up like a tent on the road.

Things are getting interesting as the season wears on. I like what I'm seeing from our team, waiting for them to put together two halves of basketball against a good team, but it sure is exciting to win and actually have reason to complain about not playing perfect. February 19th should be entertaining.

We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

Better pray IU doesn't "put up 2 halves of good basketball' or you'll see a rerun of last years 85-57 nut stomping.

i think we will get to at least 60 this time so it could be 85-60 rofl, but in all honest i see it being no more than 15 and thats with IU making FT's at the end to get it there

When was the last time that happened against a team with a pulse?

I'm saying an IU victory but by 10 or less. We have a tendency to play to the level of whatever team we are playing so I don't think it is going to be a rout.

If they played RIGHT now, IU would be a 7 pt fav at Assembly Hall

It's been about a month, ever since IU stopped playing OOC cupcakes. That sure is an interesting coincidence.

actually, Turdue non conference schedule is looking worse and worse. Let's revisit

Clumpson sucks - like I told you they would
Women's cosmetic company, Lancomb - no explanation needed
Dog College - ditto
Iowa state - ditto
Misery - stinks
UL - crippled
Misery state - ugh
Bethann Crockpot - where did DoorMatt find these teams?

and the rest of the cupcakes. at least IU played Uconn, Xavier, UK, at SIU, Illinois State.

Turdue's schedule was worse than IU's

UK is meh, SIU is slightly below meh, Illinois State is meh. Nothing to impressive although I'll give credit Xavier and UCONN are much better than anyone we faced OOC.

neither PU or IU should be talking shit about OOC SoS. Both absolutely pathetic and inexcusable...

IU OOC SoS: 150th in nation
PU OOC SoS: 251st in nation

terrible.
