Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

we have got to take better care of the ball. it seems like if we arent getting hammered on the boards, were turning it over too much. ill take the win, but this has to improve before tourny time.

Yep. The turnovers are the 1 thing REALLY holding us back right now IMO.

Though you wouldn't have noticed it against the Boilers ;)

We had a combined 64 turnovers (to 22) against Minnesota, Purdue, and Northwestern, and somehow still came out on top. If Danny boy doesn't address this issue and cut down on the sloppy play, it's going to be the death of us come tourney time.

All that said we've only averaged 13.5 turnovers/game (prior to last night). It seems like in general we're good witht he ball, but every now and again we freak out and just can't stop turning it over. Frankly, I don't understand it...

I hear ya, dreach. It's almost contagious with our gaurds. The sad thing is, alot of these turnovers are unforced.

I don't get it either.

It's because EJ has horrible ball control.

Look at the dudes Assist to turnover ratio alone. He's the major problem with most of our turnovers, making dumbass passes and ALWAYS doing the same move to defenders. (He usually walks up slow, fakes left and right and then tries to drive, EVERYTIME. Defenders pick that up easily...)

He's not ready to go pro boys. If so, he'll be playing with Wilmont and Calloway in the D-League for awhile. He really has some weak spots that should be apparent to most of us by now.

Agree with the turnovers, but exactly when have we been hammered on the boards?

In Big Ten play, we have yet to be outrebounded in a game. We're about +8/game. The only team I can remember handling us on the boards was UConn.
