Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

When will the BTN and the cable companies come to terms. I think it will be either here in March or not until August when football starts up again.

I guess that's an assumption on my part, but since 49% of the BTN is owned by FOX sports I'm pretty sure that at some point they are going to get the deal done or they would lose a lot of money.

I hope, my family is too cheap to get DTV :pissed:

I have Verizon Fios here in Ft Wayne, they have told me we will have it in April 2008. Can't wait for that Minnesota v. Iowa women's softball game. :sarcasm:

Hmm, looking out my window at the Tulsa skyline, I have to believe it will be the seventh of NEVER before I get it here.

Very cool channel to have. Other than being able to watch the games, obviously, my fav part is the Big 10's Greatest Games.

Lots of good ole stuff from the 80's and 90's.

Fox also owns DirecTV. Trust me, they're MAKING money by NOT having the BTN on cable. How many people in "Big Ten country" do you think have traded in their cable subscription for a satellite dish this year because of the BTN? I did. This little ruse of Fox's isn't brought up very often in the BTN vs. Comcast debates...

DirecTV is really not much more (if ANY) more than Comcast cable. Depends mostly on the package and type of receiver you get....but on DirecTV, BTN is on the basic plan.
