Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

stemler should never shoot beyond the arc. period.

IU has ben-allen-fever with stemler. he'll hit two key three's (but miss 10 in the same game) and everyone thinks he's gold beyond the arc.

i don't give a fuck about how many times he dives on the ground....he is not that great of a player. the only reason he plays is because our other guys are even worse...which is sad.

lol Final score 72-69 IU wins by 3 again... all those picks at 10+ really look like homer picks.

IU should've put that team away. That game should've been a blow out. I predicted a 17 point win and IU should've won easily by that margin. They looked horrible and I mean horrible the way Bill Walton says it.

ah, the good news is Basset is emerging as a good 3rd scoring option and IU is learning to win when Gordon has good awful shooting nights

Which seems like its every night recently. However, he still manages to get his 20 points.

I think I could sit and read your opinions on Lance Stemler for days. It never gets old.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

just like how the loud "CLANK" that usually follows a stemler 3-point attempt never gets old to our opponents.

He has the oddest looking shot. It honestly looks like a 5th grade girl just pushing it at the basket. But then again he can barely jump over a coke can so he really doesn't get much lift on his shot, he has to push it.

And you always think "there's no fucking way that thing is going in" and they usually miss BADLY. but he has hit a couple of huge one. Minny, and I think Illinois? I was giving him the benefit of the doubt last season after the concussion, but now I have to agree with Brian.

Except he shoots nearly 50% from 3 and has more athleticism in his pinky finger than you or Stemler have in your entire bodies.

yep. I'm especially impressed by Homely having the muscle tone of an 8 year old and the odd AIDS bruise on his bingo arm.
